Hey Jucci... QUESTION!? If a provider has $120 for a half hour and $260 for an hour, could a hobbyist just pay for two half hours and only pay $240?
Now see, that seems pretty stupid but believe it or not some providers have that kind of price structure in their ad.

If my original question was CAN YOU SEE MY RATES? Why would you ask if they could pay 240? I have my rates posted so of course not.
If we agree on HH then that's your rate if guy wants to stay longer I ask for my full hr rate. No rates are usually discussed at my session, pretty much my donation is on the ads no need to discuss

You are right. You can set your rates any way you want. However, you can expect someone to ask for three consecutive HH appts if you use the example you described. That would not be an unreasonable request. You can always say no but to say the person asking is dumb or should not even ask is silly.

SL, in defense of Jucci... even though she may not necessarily look at it this way, but some providers do offer discounted HH donations.
It'd be safe to say that 9 out of 10 hobbyists who seek HH sessions...are in/out...they don't *linger* for another HH or more.
Some 1hr hobbyists tend to *linger* for another 15 to 30+ minutes...so, if you do the math on those types of situations...the HH rates end up being the better deal for the provider.

Hey Jucci, the last thing I'm going to do is tell a provider how to run her business. But most providers appreciate constructive criticism. I was merely jokingly pointing out that your half hour rate and hourly rate are NOT the norm. I see you have now changed your price on your hourly rate. Good for you! Best of luck to you. You have a GREAT half hour rate!

Now I on the other hand can be an asshole. I am generally a nice guy unless there is trickery involved. So let's make sure that those portfolios are current. Because I don't like to be misled.
