Homer is right... I'm probably still fairly new on the site, but not to the hobby. There's a learning curve to getting established. In the past, I've seen several BP providers in DFW, but didn't really know to ask about providing references or referrals. I really prefer this site for locating providers. Just feels safer.

I can see both sides of the coin. For me, Being a Newbie, it kinda sucks, because since I'm new to all of it, I only want to get with verified providers. For my safety reasons, I don't want to walk into vice or any other LE, and it seems like that's the risk you have to take when your a noob. Because the trusted providers want references. Also I live in New Braunfels, and am always looking for close to home encounters

I am newbie friendly, but will make you jump thru some hoops. Even then, if I get a weird vibe or something doesn't feel right, I won't do it. I love lurkers and newbies are always fun to "break in" hehe! The majority of people I see are not on a hobby board, but are high enough profile that they are easy to screen.

Being a newbie myself (and this being my first post haha) I've gone back and forth for over a year debating on seeing someone but end up not just out of fear for what I have to lose if I were to get caught. It does seem like there are plenty of ways to make sure that you play safe the majority of the time and I understand that completely when providers turn me down. Just a little scary throwing all your personal and employment info out to total strangers (p411 included). Ultimately there is risk on both sides of the table and for me I still haven't had the balls to just go through with it. So many smoking hot girls on here though (scarlett rossi good god..) so I have a feeling my cherry will be popped sooner than later!! Be Safe!

Same with most ladies here or on the above list.

I would make the reference a "request", part of you giving up some info to a trusted, long time and well reviewed and heavy on the boards provider (that they act as a responsive reference). No guarantee, but you can always post if they don't deliver what they promised ....
