Last time around, Timmy, we didn't know what Obama would do. He made many good sounding promises. He broke them all. Even I was looking forward to his Presidency, based on what he said in the campaign. But he lied.

Now we know. And while I don't think that everyone who votes for Obama this time hates America, they sure don't understand what America has been, and what we should be.

And I'd remind Munchie that soldiers take an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States, not the President.

Actually we do know the truth, we have Obama's votes and his speeches saying he opposed protecting children who survived a botched abortion.......you just don't want to admit the truth of the statement...I understand, it is a monsterous policy that Obama supports and you can't in good conscience admit to it.

Obama never made the economic arguement that you claim, so who is the liar.

Doesn't Obamacare mandate second opinions? Why not in a failed abortion? If we are going to err, let's err on the side of life.

I kind of understand that the provision does burden the woman getting an abortion, but once the child is out, the abortion is over. She's had her abortion. If the child is alive, then a second opinion is not a burden.

I've given Obama the benefit of the doubt on this one, but the arguments are getting ridiculous. If a baby is born alive, naturally or through a botched abortion, there is nothing burdensome about getting a second opinion about whether and what steps can and should be taken to keep him/her alive. Once born alive, the child has all the rights to life any of the rest of us have.

If a child has a viable possibility of life outside the womb, it should have the right to live. Thousands of people are waiting to adopt. Our laws make it hard on them to do so. I have a friend of mine that ended up adopting from overseas as it was easier.

Of course he made that arguement; he doesn't want the aborted baby to survive, so he denies the baby medical attention.

Obama NEVER made the arguement that getting a 2nd opinion was an expansion of government and therefore bad policy.

Am I missing something here? Why would the question, can we save this baby, even be asked? The doctor's job is to try and save the baby, period. If the baby can't be saved, that will be discovered after the doctor has tried to save it and failed.

It not the doctor's job to say, wow! this one's in pretty bad shape, why waste money on a lost cause. Doctor's aren't allowed to do that. It's against the law.
