I am a total metal head, one of my first concerts ever growing up was slayer. I was raised on metal.
My favorite bands are: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, Metallica, Lamb Of God, Black Sabath, Black Label Society, Immolation, Nile, Exodus, Mastodon, Cattle Decapitation...
With all that being said I still LOVE classic rock, blues, classical, opera, and my all time favs are Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, and the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. When I was 8 NBC came out, I saw it 5 times in theaters then when it came out on tape I would fall asleep watching it in my room nightly LMFAO.

Honda is now using a Judas Priest song in a TV commercial. Who would have thought?
Glad others mentioned the Scorpions and UFO. All favorites.
The first concert I ever saw (1977) Molly Hatchet warmed up for REO Speedwagon (neither are HM). This was before anyone had ever heard of Molly Hatchet. When they were done playing, they walked through the audience while REO played. They shared their umm party supplies with us. Cool.

Nice, I love all the women chiming in! Nothing hotter than a sexy female head banger!
Glad you mentioned Black Label Society, very underrated band, Zakk Wylde can thrash. Total cheese video but a great tune:

Thank you, Lexxxy. I was wondering if anyone was talking about real metal lol. I love me some Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, and Slipknot; not to mention Fear Factory, Damageplan, Hatebreed, Static-X, Anthrax, Pantera, Sepultura, Soulfly or anything else with Max Cavalera, Puya, Biohazard, and Skindred. Just to name a few.
