I've had a 1.5 hour minimum for a little over two years, and I got some of the best clients during that time. It's not about what you charge, it's more about attracting a certain type of person to you that likes to spend the time. Although I have one hour listed, I rarely get one hour appointments. I would consider it an honor that you're attracting the type of clientele that's willing to book more time with you.
Your decision to do this shouldn't be based on what anyone feels but you. Or it should be a business decision based on how things are going. The only reason I would raise my hourly minimum or my rates is if I'm too busy. When I didn't have a permanent incall, I had a 2 hour minimum since I had to procure accommodations, and I gave a break on the outcall. Now that I have an incall, I can be less strict about one hour appointments.
You can also base it on your lifestyle. I don't have a problem with 30 minute appointments, but I don't do them because I don't have the time to do enough of them for it to be considered a productive use of my time. In the end, you do what's best for you. If someone won't see you because of your time requirements, it's their loss.
