I got about halfway through it before that purple color gave me a migraine. I think what she was trying to say is she wasn't ready to give him the phone number yet, but he kept pressing her for it, so she blew off the whole deal. No harm, no foul.
The provider should always dictate the method and timing of communication. If the newbie wasn't happy with her response time he should have just started looking for a Plan B, imo.
He had no reason to question how she chooses to handle her business...there are so many others out there.
