There are more whites on welfare because there five times as many whites as blacks. A much higher percentage of blacks are on welfare compared to the percentage of whites on welfare. Blacks are approximately 3.5 times more likely to be on welfare than whites.

As a reader of Freakonomics I have to point out all the possible criminals eliminated by abortion. So this is where all the abortion supporters can take a bow. Racist Margaret Sanger would be so proud.

The Freakonomics guys do make a good argument that there has been a drop in the crime rate that directly correlates to the increase in abortions after Roe v Wade. In New York City, 60% of black pregnancies are aborted. The crime rate reductions in New York City under Rudy Giuliani were duplicated in every large city in the country during the same time period.
If Republicans supported state funded abortion on demand, blacks would call it genocide.

Probably because the Republican support would make it mandatory that all blacks submit to abortion whether they wanted a child or not and the liberals would continue to let it be elective ....for all!

The unions should really get behind this. These are all new potential union members that are currently competing against them in the labor market. Now they will be able to join the unions and have their dues support Obama.

Actually it is communists who are supporting forced abortion and Joe Biden. I don't know if Sanger was a member of the Klan but her sympathies were with them as was Woodrow Wilson.
