"Stupid" and "Kind" would seem to have very little correlation, as do "kindness" and "weakness". Giving someone else your money is either:

2.*something given to a person or persons in need; alms: She asked for work, not charity.
3.*a charitable act or work.
Unless, of course, it wasn't a gift but rather an expected quid pro quo, in which case it wasn't an act of kindness either.
