How do you prefer cancelations to be handled on the day of?

Some guys are under the impression that all providers get mad if he has to cancel. Not true. A simple phone call will do, if you are nervous just send a text. I usually say thank you for doing that. Can't wait to see you next time around.

I usually call at least two hours in advance to let the guy know, that way he can move on to plan b or c. He seemed happy i called to let him know.
