Thank you, Pepper and Chuck. That was my point, as mokoa's closure statement made it look like I do not have providers' security in mind. You have made my day.

This was personal between me and mokoa. Those who did not know what was going on (pretty much everyone) may think what they like, making assumptions about what she could and could not do. A lot of mod wannabes. It was not a matter of changing the handle to a new mystery one for security reasons, where you could not tie the two together. Come on - Slave Guinevere vs. S**** *? Does that seem like a handle that is trying to be covert? And it's posted on BP? Think folks. It was about a stolen handle.

I have said what I wanted to say, and at least some folks out there understand I would never out a provider. If I broke a board rule, well, I didn't need to be lectured to by a condescending a******.

This whole thing could have been handled better in that you are NOT the only one was received her "cry" for assistance. Sometimes it is best to simply make sure it was referred to a staffer (it really doesn't matter who or what "pay grade" they have) - and then simply back out. Those who have (and are currently) on different staffs ==> no matter where ==> have very different understandings as to how forums work and are governed. The is a tremendous tool for things like this.

Stepping away from the except to say it looks like the "Slave Guinevere" handle is active at this time!!

Well, I'm sorry if you misunderstood what *I* was trying to say FL. I didn't assume anything...and, fyi, I'm not your enemy!
I posted my comments according to what you posted...and, I thought it was honest and fair. If you don't think so...and, apparently, you don't...there's no need to jump on those of us who were only trying to post an objective point of view...and, offer other options to help her...geesh, sorry!!

Since the account was possibly compromised, I erred on the side of caution. Something I will always do when a member's privacy and security are involved. Your good intentions aside FL, you went about it the wrong way. Had this situation been brought to the Staff's attention first, all of this drama could have been avoided.

Now as requested, I am closing this thread. All other threads on this topic will also be closed.

The discussion of this topic is over. It has been hashed around enough. I do not want to see any more threads started on this topic. I see no more useful purpose for it.
