It does represent something, we just really disagree over what. You see revered posters and I see warnings to others not to follow that path.

It would be impossible to try and run a board this size like the Y, we know everyone that posts. That is not practical or even possible on larger boards, we can act as conscience for a larger board, help keep them pointed in the right direction.

I suppose it comes down to the fact that if you are a provider and post photos of ANY kind anywhere, be prepared for the consequences should someone you know find them.

I do show my face in 99% of my photos as my smile is one of my most attractive features, but when I decided to do that I knew that I was taking a risk and accepted it. I have also never allowed any explicit photos to be taken of me in compromising positions. You will NEVER see a photo of my Irish beaver anywhere, or of me engaged in an actual sex act, and if you do, it's fake.

When I entered this profession I decided that I would never have a photo taken that I would be ashamed of if a friend, family, or even a prospective future employer came across it. I've only posed for those I could explain away as a nude modeling assignment, an art shot, or, yes, maybe PG-13 erotic play with a lover. And yes, I knew that they would probably be copied.

Whether we like it or not or give permission to use it or not, if you put something out on the Internet, don't expect privacy.

As for scruples and respect.....I'm sorry, Cercy, that this person's actions are causing you a problem. Alas, while you may want to think the best of people, I'm afraid it might be best to lower your expectations with everyone you see and assume that the worst may happen. (Then you'll be pleasantly surprised when they turn out to be REAL gentlemen.) Sounds negative, but I prefer to think of it as being prepared. Under all circumstances, always anticipate a problem, as I guarantee there will be one eventually. It's just the law of averages; the more you do, or screw, the higher the likelihood that there will be a screw-up.
