Gia, you are very well informed. And at your age, that is outstanding! Don't let anyone preasure you into doing anything you don't want to do. But, you also need to understand the local market. This is one of the most competive markets in the country right now. Even with the well known and documented hazards of BB services of all kinds, guys still want it and ladies provide it.

My advice to you is to read the posts and learn more about the members of the board and how this market works. You will learn over time which memberrs are receptive to your ideas. After you have established some credibility through good posts and outstanding reviews, you will find people far more receptive to your very valid concerns. Some of the established providers here will find it a bit offinsive, even if not intended, for a new to the area, young provider, to come in and suggest major changes to how they work. If you come across as being critical of the established community, even if not intended, you will do nothing but antaginize the people you need to know to do well here.

You are young, even if well edicatuted. There are many ladies here who will be happy to help you become adjusted to this market. Don't piss them off :-)

Also in your reviews a few gents came forward with comments about you having lots of drama. Maybe that is also playing a factor in your troubles.

I know several providers here in dallas that are cbj that have set their rates according to the market for non gfe services and do quite well. You are a very pretty girl and nobody is telling you to do anything that you are not comfortable with. We are just suggesting you take a look at what other ladies in the area charge and find something along those lines if you want to do well here.

You have to remember there are well over 1000 providers working here in the dfw alone. With more and more coming every day. It is cutthroat here in this city and I do agree that the midwest hobby scene is wayyy different than it is here in dallas that is why I tour there every chance I get.

Also you have lots of ink, so do I. Sometimes I catch a lot of shit for that. A lot of guys love it, some dont mind, and some hate it.

I am not trying to be catty I am just telling it like it is here from my experiences. I apologize if you feel that way.

After looking at your reviews of when you were on BP, it appears you delivered services like BBBJ and DATY, but not BBFS. So have you changed your menu? Are there specific services you don't want to deliver like DFK? You have not had a review here in quite awhile. You might contact guys you have seen and ask why they are not reviewing you. Could be very helpfull to you.

This was just discussed not long ago on the BBFS thread. The same one that many guys admited that they would partake in that service. Its obovious that most just dont care as much as they should . I even posted a long and indetail post on STD's incubation periods and all. Its one of thoses things that had been beat dead just like the BBFS pimp and other threads we see all the time that always end the same way.

Also , i dont think there is a problem with "our" business here in DFW ! We all do what WE feel is right for us and we all protect ourselves to our comfort levels. I have also been around for quite sometime I have worked in Carson City at the Bunny Ranch. I have NEVER had an issue with ANY of the services that i provide.

I guess my question to you was did you do any research before you moved here ? It doesent take much to know that DFW is mainly a GFE based community here. Yes, there are some who are not but hey they do what works for them as you should as well.

You are a beautiful girl and I have mad respect that you have made your boundaries and intend on sticking to them.

I'd go out on a limb and say, though-- that your biggest problem may not be your service level as much as the price point. Don't get me wrong-- you are BEAUTIFUL... but you have 3 reviews here right now, all well below the price point posted on your ad. I've been around for years with dozens of great reviews, but if I were to suddenly try to double my rate, I'd have far less business than I wanted as well. I'm all for getting what you feel you are worth, but you've gotta do it gradually-- right now it appears you just... doubled your rate.

Jules-- all the drama in her reviews is just on that one review, and it appears to be created by the "No GFE, No WAY" crowd. I wouldn't automatically make that an indictment on her. Its just like guys who love to hop on my reviews and comment on my weight-- some guys just want to watch the world burn )

I personally think BBBJ isn't worth the risk of getting Herpes or Syphilis. I once had an appointment with a very hot provider. I was thinking with the little head and engaged in BBBJ. I went to a well known anonymous BLGT STD testing center in Dallas. I told the nurse my only risk was BBBJ. He then told me BBBJ was high risk for Syphilis.

That being said, people on this site have made THEIR choice. Generally speaking, the only activity they consider risky is BBFS. You can't force everyone else to play safe based on GIA standards or CDC standards. All you can do is protect YOURSELF. The only way to make the hobby safer is to legalize and regulate it like in Nevada. But to do this you need to be contacting your congressman or congresswoman instead of seeking help from those on this boars who want the status quo.

Your nurse made an irresponsible statement. First, "high" is a relative term. Actually, medical professionals would use the words "low" and "rare" to describe the transmission of syphilis via oral sex. Since it is not transmitted via saliva, it normally requires direct contact with a lesion of the person who has it. Most physicians practice their whole lives without seeing a case of orally transmitted syphilis.

The media is full of inflammatory statements regarding sexually transmitted diseases thus contributing to the hysteria of the "worried well." Please don't add to that.

Maybe you are well informed as to the facts, but you have a lot to learn about people. In that regard, you are not impressive for your age. You are typical for your age.

Run your business as you see fit. Try to convince your competition to do it your way. All of this is fine. It's the air of superiority that prompted this post. The same one held by people who pass laws against smoking in bars, who pass helmet laws... for children on bicycles, pass seatbelt laws, drug laws, pornography laws, prostitution laws.
