There are some sites I participate on where I only show my face to a certain level of member, where I am able to set that restriction myself. Any site in public? At first I did show my face - but after educating myself about how those pictures can end up in "face books", I took everything down. If my reviews aren't enough to tell someone I'm not a horrid troll, I'm not sure what I can do to convince anyone

I know some women who show their faces. Their families and friends know they are escorts. They are not ashamed to be selling time and companionship, and helping other people.

Stating that an escort, who shows her face, will not honor and respect a client's need for discretion, is ridiculous. That's like adding 2+2 and getting 22!

I refuse to show my face. I'm so paranoid, I won't even blur my face but show my hair. Lol.

No one in my civilian life knows what I do & I'd be risking too much if anyone found out.

It's simply not worth it to me to put everything I have or could have in the future at risk for a temporary career.

I agree with you, Evie! I am paranoid, too. Yes, I do have a life outside of here...career, family, lots of friends, etc.
One time last year, there was a hobbyist that put a review on me mentioning what I do in my other career, where I am from, and some general family info. I was like,"Why the hell do you feel the need to share that info with everyone?? What do those info have anything to do with the hobby?? Do you not understand what dicretion means?" Sigh! Luckily....moderator deleted that part of the review right away.

My family and close friends know and are super supportive. Now granted, I don't go running my mouth telling everyone I meet what's up right off the bat but I won't lie about it forever. There will always be judgemental people and that's totally fine. I am happy, healthy, financially thriving and my clients are fab. I refuse to live my life on anyone else's terms but my own.

My pictures are only blurred right now because I have to keep a low profile through the end of the year. Once all is clear, it's back to full face. Being in Vegas, it's easy to blend in. My client's discretion is of the utmost importance and there has never been any problems at all, even before the blurring.

If I see a clear face in an ad, I like it because I can better know if I want to see her. But I would feel differently if I planned on going out with her in public (this would be dumb for a married guy). However, from the woman's perspective, I agree with those who say she should hide or blur her face, for the reasons stated in this thread. I do wonder about the providers that absolutely reveal their face in their ads--don't they think they should hide their hobby activities from their families, friends, employers, or people looking at these photos in the future?

Good photos can (if the woman is willing to do this) hide or blur much of the face while still showing enough (sharp or blurred) of facial structure to reveal how beautiful the woman might be. I've certainly on occasion become highly attracted to a picture that has blurred or partially hidden facial features.

I show my face because I am not ashamed of my job, anyone who I could possibly care about vaguely knows what I do for a living and if they don't they can fuck off because the last thing I need in my busy life is judgmental people because no one on this earth is perfect.

Do I expect to be an escort my whole life? No. But it won't be some dirty little crude secret I will take to my grave because, surprisingly, I love my job, the people I've gotten to meet and the opportunities I've been offered have been a wonderful part of me life. I don't expect to be in line for a job with a clearance in the future especially in my professional field. So i don't worry about it and if my Grandkids do stumble upon granny strutting her stuff in a g-string in the old days, I will be sure to have great stories for them.

Besides who can say no to this face!!! LOL.

EXactly! I have no problems being as discreet as my client needs and I have never been recognized on the street so far.

I feel the same way, Skylar. I know women who don't show their faces who get recognized all the time. Some of you can't hide the fact that you're a hooker regardless of whether you're showing your face or not, so what's the difference? I have YET to be recognized in six years. The fact that I show my face has yet to be a problem for my friends, and MOST of my encounters are public.

Me either. Even when I worked my square job which was at a bank I never had a problem.
Even if someone did recognize you, do you really think they're going to say anything? What does that say about them?

Hello! And I think being recognized or 'spotted' has a lot to do with your look and the way you carry yourself. Some women have no hope of being asked out on a dinner date because of what they look like. Don't tell me I'm the only one who plays "Spot the Hooker" on dinner dates! LOL

Besides, if the some group really wants to out you, they can pull up your IP address, websites, phone numbers or worse yet....lie!

Oh really..tell that to the guys who are PHOTOGRAPGHED with known escorts whilst out on the town after they have her pictures on the net to compare. You simply don't know who the other person is that you are with and who they might have "watching" them.
