I can definitely see Alicia's point regarding screening for a first time client who only wants a half-hour appointment. Talk about lowering one's ROI!

From the perspective of a hobbiest, I agree with the idea that it could be a great thing for a client and provider who already know one another. It does bring out the "sneaking away for a quickie" feeling one might have with a new lover. I don't see myself ever having a first appointment with a lady as less than an hour, though. Just personal preference, as I have to be engaged mentally to have good sex, and that means more than 30 minutes.

I sincerely believe that you have to do what works for you and don't concern yourself (too much) with what others are thinking. They're not paying your bills or putting food on your table, except in small time increments.

About two and a half years ago, I sortof started over with this business and started to do things differently. Before, a busy week was 3 appointments. On a rare week, four.

I was fine with that but after making some personal changes, I wanted more.

I was nervous about offering 30 minutes but once I got used to it, it was great.

I could have a dead day, and heck, if you get one appointment, well ... it's more than you would make working in a fast food place for eight hours.

Last week, I saw a couple of old friends who I hadn't seen in forever. And they were both 30 minutes appointments and I hadn't had one in a very long time because of certain advertising restrictions in different places.

It was FUN FUN FUN. Spontaneous. Do you have to go to the exact type of trouble to get ready for a 30 minute appointment as you do for an hour one? Oh sure.

Can it feel rather rushed if you're really getting into each others bodies and feelings and chemistry? Oh yeah.

But why not?

Kandy, you're new and I can understand that you're feeling insecure about your business plan. But don't be. If in the future something isn't working out for you, then you can always change your path.

That's one of the advantages for working for yourself!

I love the quick 15 minutes FnG's.. although I wont do 15 minutes BnG's at all. But, I am all about the quickies. Both can come out fully satisfied with a quick sex session... whether it be on his way to the office or his way home. Not, everyone during the day can devote a full hour on his lunch break, but when you offer a quick sex session for 15 minutes, takes him 15 minutes to leave the office and get there. and 15 to get back.. leaves him plenty of time to collect his thoughts right before having to punch back in. I really don't have too many thirty minute requests. Mainly one hour sessions although I'd be game to take on more of those for the hard working men out there.

Great thread.

30 minute appts are great for us hobbyiest that think with the little head and rarely pop twice.

I always assume that if the session is going great, and the provider is free, most sessions can be extended to the hour rate.

I'm also glad to see how many providers are open to 30min sessions that have previously not advertised this choice

Excellent points ... I tend to think of a :30 appointment as BCE ... the Booty Call Experience. Immediate. Intense. Little to no conversation. Like you are speeding home to tear each others clothes off, and you go at it fast, hard and with animal-like desire ... then a quick hug, kiss and you are gone!

30 or 45 minue appointments are great because:

With new friend, you can quickly dtermine if there's chemistry and a good fit. If yes, many times, with mutual consent, you can extend to 45 or 60. If not, you can be out the door in 30.

With old friends, 30 or 45 minutes is plenty of time for the feeling of an illicit tryst. The proverbial "forbidden fruit." Plus, it's easier on those of us with a budget for both time and funds.

Just my humble opinion...

lol, I think there are ALOT of guys like me out there who A) cant really squeeze enough $$ away from the SO without an alarm to always do 1 or 2 hour sessions, and B) booking an hour session means I have 30 minutes to take a nap at your place afterwards, and still be out the door with time to spare. I can do that in my car at a park on a nice day (nap), no sense in paying for or bothering the provider with that

Im man enough to admit that when I was 20 yrs old, I could bang for 30-45 minutes, and do it again with a 5 minute rest in between. I am NOT 20 anymore and 10-15 minutes is all I have in me on most days..

Hi EW!!! I am proud of you. I saw a couple of old friend over the past month who want me to come back. You keep doing what you are doing. If it ain't broke....don't fix it. We all need to do what works for us on an individual level. With me, I'm open to thirty minute assignations. Others, and this includes a few of my closest friends, just are not.

I'm also very glad that this has been such a positive thread, which was the intent. We all have different styles but I sincerely believe that most of the ladies here wish to give pleasure as well as the gentlemen wish to receive it!

I love half hour appointments; I do not do very many. I like them because they are affordable for those who would not normally see you for your hourly rate. I also like them because they are good ice breakers for shy people or people just wondering if you will get along. Now for fbsm, half hours can be a lil tough.... But that's because I get lost in the muscle groups!
