He's trying to get harder, or at least semi.

Update: Visited doctor. Apparently, the brain has ability to override any dosage of ED pills, if it doesn’t want to fuck anymore. Urologist also prescribed Clomifene 25mg daily.
Referral to compulsive behavior psychologist. Meeting twice a week, at Provider rates, and I don’t even get L1 from the receptionist. Their first step is now to try quitting sex completely to see what happens.
I had not heard of the Clomifene usage before, hope that helps someone.

No porn, no masturbation. I just haven’t had any enjoyment from sex in years, despite consuming much of my mind and money. It’s like the mind compels me to seek women daily, when I don’t even really care to enjoy it, and in the last year, my body started a rebellion. Guess that’s why I’ll be meeting with the psych regularly now.
Or maybe they just saw dollar signs and want my money moved from the sex economy into the medical economy.

Technically it's a fertility med for woman. However, on men, can increase sperm count and testosterone.

I agree with Gina, forget the videos and dates with Rosie. As I mentioned above, find a woman that can raise the dead.

And, consider a long-term arrangement

To the OP; glad you got medical help. Didn’t want to chime in as I’m not a medical professional but had a similar (not as deep however) as yours. Tried pills to help but my mind just wasn’t into the woman anymore. Couldn’t get hard with her. Thought it was physical. Found someone new and problem was solved. The mind is a powerful thing..

I honestly think that is my problem... I critique porn movies now, and this last weekend I leached 196 gigs of porn movies... I have my favorite actress's, some from the golden age, some newer, but when the production company does a shitty job like the sound is out of one side of your speakers, or the camera guy gets to swoopy with the camera that you get motion sickness or worse the movie is 20 minutes long, the first 5 minutes is dialog with the director/camera person who btw is the male talent in the movie.

for me watching too much porn has gotten me to the point that the sensual touch will get me going... looks are a changeable by product.

Can confirm that the brain can override ED meds. I've come up with a formula of sorts:

Each person has a threshold for when arousal leads to erection. Let's call this MinErec.

Situations in life arouse you to varying degrees. In isolation, when a situation arouses more than MinErec, you get hard. So a given a man's MinErec = 5, an unattractive person may be Arousal=3, no erection. An attractive person may be Arousal=8, so erection.

Then there's the effect of other external factors that can increase or decrease MinErec. Alcohol can decrease it, as can ED meds. Anxiety can increase it. We can sum these up as ExternArouse. Arousal - ExternArouse = your total arousal. In my experience, ED meds can decrease ExternArouse but only to an extent.

So you will get an erection if MinErec < Arousal - ExternArouse.

Consider this when evaluating how your anxiety will impact your ED med usage, and how choice of lady impacts this. If you can figure out your personal values for each of those variables, you can start to figure out how you work. Easier said than done of course.

Decreasing porn usage helps a lot. I barely consume any nowadays and haven't had any need for ED meds in a while. Getting a grip on anxiety (via exercise) and boosting natural arousal from giving up most porn helped the most. Now I can get and stay hard in just about any situation.

Best of luck to you.

I find the story questionable. I think if you took that many viagra and Cialis at the same time, you'd be in the emergency room.

Cialis reduces your blood pressure to very low and dangerous levels... 9 - 20 mg Cialis would be very extreme.... not only blood pressure, but a headache that would be extreme as well...

Looks like you've seen a doctor now and have a plan... but I'm still having problems believing the initial post...

Good luck...

A'Man

ps - just googled this and this was the AI summary/answer... and, this doesn't include also taking Viagra at the same time...

Taking nine 20 mg Cialis (tadalafil) tablets at once is a severe overdose that can lead to life-threatening medical emergencies. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg per day for as-needed use, and exceeding this dosage significantly increases your risk of dangerous and severe side effects.
If you or someone you know has taken this amount of Cialis, call 911 or America's Poison Centers at 1-800-222-1222 immediately.

Serious and potentially life-threatening effects

A massive overdose of Cialis can cause a dangerously severe and prolonged version of its common effects.
Massive drop in blood pressure: Cialis relaxes blood vessel muscles, but a large dose can cause a severe and sudden drop in blood pressure (hypotension). This can lead to fainting, dizziness, and life-threatening cardiovascular events like heart attack or stroke, especially if you have pre-existing heart problems.

Priapism: An overdose greatly increases the risk of a prolonged and painful erection that lasts more than four hours. If not treated immediately, priapism can cause permanent damage to the penis, including irreversible erectile dysfunction.

Vision loss: Tadalafil can cause sudden and permanent loss of vision in one or both eyes due to a condition called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).

Hearing loss: An overdose can cause sudden decreased or complete loss of hearing, which may be accompanied by ringing in the ears or dizziness.

Allergic reaction: A severe overdose can cause an acute allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) with symptoms such as hives, swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing.

Other severe symptoms: High doses can also lead to heart palpitations, chest pain, and seizures.

Exacerbated common side effects
In addition to the life-threatening risks, taking such a large dose will make all common side effects much more severe and longer-lasting.
Intense headaches
Severe muscle pain and back pain
Indigestion and heartburn
Nasal congestion and flushing
Blurred or color-tinged vision
Confusion and dizziness

So if OP can’t hear, can’t see, fainting, difficulty breathing, and a 4 hour hard-on, wouldn’t that make the sex uncomfortable?

So AI most likely would NOT recommend doubling the dosage?

What do the Firm’s doctors recommend?

I’ve always been curious, would a woman enjoy a 4 hour erection? Assuming it’s not painful or causing damage to one’s health. I always stop at 3 hours, 59 minutes just to be safe.

Hi and thanks to many for the words said, all dialogue is helpful. To clarify, I didn’t say I was following a doctor recommended dosage, just that’s the amount I had gradually ramped up to. I’ve kept increasing the dosages as the effects on my dick became less noticeable, but the side effects affecting my vision made me realize this is a bad strategy. At about that dosage, I lost all vision for a while and went to bed near blind, and took a nap till my vision returned. I can’t speak for what the Internet would say such doses do, just speaking to my own bad judgment in self-medicating. I’ve also fainted when standing up, and had some other bad symptoms.

I’ve been cutting down the dosages and am trying to cut sex out completely while I work through things with my therapist now. So far I haven’t been successful in going completely without sex, and I’m still not enjoying sex but just going through the motions. At least I know what path I need to go on, to get my life back.
