RAYCISS is all they have. They’ve claimed everything from math to dogs are RAYCISS so they have devalued the meaning. Shit they even have to make up hate crimes to perpetuate their grievance grift.

Sure all republicans are RAYCISS. Everything is RAYCISS. And if everything is RAYCISS, then nothing is.

How many blacks are in Trump’s cabinet?
... Not just a number of Blacks in Trump's Administration
- but a good number of Black candidates for Congress
and Senate all supported by President Trump. ...

... Adding to the Great state of the Republican party.

You still didn’t answer the simple question. How many blacks are in Trump’s cabinet?

Anything to avoid the question. It’s pretty simple. How many blacks are in Trump’s cabinet?

The Republican party lost me when they started to focus on tax cuts versus increasing revenues. I could see even in the eighties that we had some pretty bad unfunded programs in place. But Grover Norquist and his anti tax pledge and the way Bush Sr was vilified for doing the right thing to balance the budget I knew then that we would not be able to get our house in order.

Tax revenues would not have been able to solve all our problems because we needed to cut spending as well but the Republican party’s devotion to tax cuts has been responsible for a large portion of our budgetary problems.

First under Bush Jr and then under Trump. The income tax cuts have done nothing but help to shift the burden to the poor and working class while increasing the federal debt.

There are 15 cabinet positions. Ben Carson occupied one of those during almost the entirety of Trump's first term. Denise Carter occupied another during the first month and a half of his second term.

So, for most of the time Trump's been president, blacks represented 6.7% of the cabinet seats.

The number of blacks who voted for Trump in 2020 and 2024 was about 3.3% of the total number of people who voted for him. So blacks have been overrepresented by close to 100%.

I'm not sure what your point is Blackman. Are you upset that you're unlikely to serve in the Trump cabinet? Well, as long as you're a Democrat, that's true. Duh.

You should become a Republican. Talk to Mike Johnson. He's a good Christian, a good Republican, and most importantly, probably your good friend. He'd welcome you to the party with open arms and guide you in your quest.

That would be a great first step. And who knows, if you put as much time into Republican Party politics as you have with the Democrats, the sky's the limit.

Personally, I believe they should keep you away from any cabinet position involving the economy or the death penalty. How about Health and Human Services? That position is earmarked for ex-Democrats, and you'd make a much, much better secretary than Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

I don't believe that's true TxDot. Bush's cuts were rescinded for higher income earners but not for others, and I believe both tax cuts actually made the system more progressive. The percentage cut in taxes paid by the high earners was less than the percentage cut for the lower earners. That's part of the reason why the top 1% pay around 40% of the income tax.

Those in the consumer class spend most if not all of their income just living. The affluent use their tax breaks to invest because they don’t have to spend every last penny just to live. It’s that extra income boost over time that increases the income gap. It’s also much harder for the working class to keep their savings and homes after economic downturns like the mortgage crisis in 2008 while those with a significant cushion can use their excess to invest in a down economy.

But that’s not really the point. They should not have cut taxes for anyone unless they had revenue to offset it. And they should have raised taxes even higher when we went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Maybe if people would feel the pain of taxes and know what it was actually paying for we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now. And that includes taxes on everyone not just the rich amongst us. But the Republicans have continued to sell the story that tax cuts are always good and spending is always bad. Neither of those things is 100% true or 100% false.

How many should there be?

That’s your problem. You think that everyone’s skin tone needs to represented just because.

Please explain why there SHOULD be blacks in any administrations cabinet based on their ethnicity alone.

How many blacks are in Trump’s cabinet? That’s not a difficult question to answer Tex.

You forgot Nazis. I mean... they both worked so well for ya'll last election. However, ya might wanna keep on eye on "Louisiana v. Callais". It seems "disparate impact" is about to ride off into the sunset.

The Republican Party hasn't changed a bit the way I see it. It's just more of the same with a different face. Nobody can dismiss the lies by Trump regarding ending the war in 24 hours and releasing the Epstein list. The only good thing Trump has done good is seal the border, try to stop transgendered men in womens sports, and deport some criminals who shouldn't have been here in the first place. The US is in dire straights as a nation with the governement working against itself! It's a catastrophe and a national embarrassment on the Democrats and Republicans. 100%
