This is bad but not as bad as people are making it out to be.

It’s not like he continued to spill secrets over Signal after he was caught the first time around. This is just a continuation of the first offense.

What makes this incident an issue is that it paints Hegseth out to be nothing but an immature man child who can’t keep a secret.

He spilled secret information about an ongoing attack to people who had no right to know, his wife, brother and personal lawyer.

For me this is nothing more than proof that his naysayers were right all along. Hegseth just doesn’t have the experience, knowledge, and temperament to fill this important position. Does everyone remember that it took JD Vance to cast the tie-breaker vote to get him confirmed.

t is my undrstanding that the Signal messaging app was brought into government usage by a previous Democrat administration because it was an encrypted, at both ends, and considered secure.

A major news outlet has pinted out that the Secretary and other cninet members were issued an approved phone with the Signal app installed.

Am I missing something about Signal?

The problem as i see it is that he is spilling classified military information to people who don’t have clearance or just simply don’t have the right to know.
