Well, a lot of Texans didn't sign up for taking over Greenland, pardons for Trump's political contributors (i.e. Trevor Milton), executive orders counter to the constitution, kneecapping law firms Trump doesn't like, and so on. Many of us agree with cutting the size of government, a lot, but not using a chainsaw. And then there's Canada. People in Michigan and Montana may want to invade Canada. But we don't give a fuck. It's 2000 miles away, for goodness sake!

Peter Navarro says the tariffs will raise $700 billion a year in tax. The majority of the tariffs will be paid indirectly by the workingman, who will pay higher prices. Texans didn't sign up for huge tax increases either.

No wonder he's not as popular among Texans as six months ago.
