Reese,
Just ask.
My friends cover Plaza, Airport and Downtown.
Another hotel guy has Kansas.

For those guys, in addition to parking at hotel, here's the plaza free parking map:

There's plenty of parking for other hotels that are a few blocks north of this maps presentation.
This is one of my prior "in my back yard" areas.

Thanks for that UC. I know that will help out a lot of guys and gals. One question: I know you said free parking but do any of these require a pass or anything to get in and out of the parking garages?

That map is the free plaza parking for shoppers and public.
Zero anything, just pull in and park.

Thanks brother. That is useful info. I usually find parking on the street, but thats helpful when ladies stay on the Plaza. Downtown is even more of an issue, and they even bend you over if your staying at the hotel, they still charge like 30 bucks to park in their garage.

Downtown is a zoo currently with the Allis Plaza parking garage under demo and rebuild. Several hundred parking spaces have disappeared. So yes street parking for over a year unless you park at hotel. That said, I always park at hotels, but, disclaimer, l have hotel staff stickers on the truck. ECG is amused that Bellhops cringe and just park it where the airport vans are parked.

Dang thirty dollars is a lot to park in a garage.
That should come with a meal and a reach around.

yup. convenience.
one of the issues for some guys thinking about going to plaza or downtown.
up at airport area or over on the west side of the state line it's open surface parking lots.
it really gets back to client demographics.

Well I could provide you the meal, but you'll be in charge of the "reach around"...

^ Yum. Can be done. Count me in. I'm still shaking my head over that thirty dollar parking. I don't expect anyone to pay that.

Yes Liberty is cool.
A bit longer drive for some guys though and guys south of river or OPKS may pass on that.
A couple eccie gals are based there.
And, a nice Italian place on the downtown square.

OP hotels = open parking and easier highway access but, less anonymity.
Plaza = more anonymous parking in that you blend in with all of the shoppers and others but, traffic generally is a mess with the one way streets and odd traffic intersections.
From a Northland perspective both can be a royal PITA at rush hours.
