No rumor.

Military contractor and Michigan native Erik Prince was part of a group that proposed a $25 billion plan to President Donald Trump's advisers to conduct mass deportation efforts in the U.S. using a fleet of aircraft, deportation camps and a "small army" of citizens authorized to make arrests.

The proposal notes that it is “unlikely that the government could apprehend all of the 12m illegal aliens without outside assistance,” and suggest deputizing 10,000 private citizens, including military veterans, former law enforcement officials and retired ICE and CBP officers, giving them expedited training and the same federal law enforcement powers of immigration officials.

10,000 'expeditedly' trained civilians (a private military force)...what could go wrong.

Trump's much better at keeping them out.
As the deportations continue.

Doesn’t change the fact that he’s deporting at about 2/3 the rate of his predecessors. Maybe Trump isn’t too good at anything. He is actually worse at something that he claimed was his top priority.

Similar story as his first go. Made it a critical issue, talked a bunch of bombast about it being a major priority, but the results aren't there.

It's what they need that quid pro quo with Adams to try to make some kind of publicly demonstrabl4 headway and right the ship

Please explain how he can't fill a plane yet has to release illegal immigrants.

Arrests don't lead to immediate deportation. Takes time. Without getting into the weeds there's a bottleneck. Couple actually. And they can only hold people for so long. And they can only deport so many. And there are still due process protections.

Not every arrest will lead to a deportation. And not every deportation order will lead to an timely deportation. So when they fill up and aren't pushing enough out they have to release.

And they do have to coordinate with the country receiving the deportees. Some of those flight are arriving with unused capacity because they sent who was in the queue for that country.

It was the same problem Biden had. And it was foreseeable

This will not end well. My prediction is that slimy Stephen Miller will be mistaken for an illegal Mexican immigrant and off'ed by the border Gestapo he creates. Just like Senator John McLaughlin in Machete.

Another factor working to reduce the number of federal deportations is the rising phenomenon of Self-Deportation.

Folks are finding that being an illegal non-citizen in America today is not the free ride promised by the progressive left and the Bidens . . . so 5hose that can are just leaving as best they can.

That's more prevalent in people who are in temporary legal status then in illegal status.

It's a move that's more common among those who are savvy and have legal assistance

some more time before we complain about the speed of things.

How long?

Not like this is something new. They aren’t starting from zero since every administration has been deporting folks. Not our fault they don’t know what they’re doing.

Are you praying for mass deportations and higher prices, because you think those will hurt Republicans? Don’t you care about the toll on people’s lives? How about the little girl, born in America, who has her parents stripped away from her and sent back to El Salvador? Or the family that can’t afford to heat its home or put a proper meal on the table?

You’re better than that Blackman. You really are.

People voted for mass deportations, effects be damned. So I say, give the people what they want. I have zero sympathy for the people that are hurt by his policies, particularly those that voted for him, no matter their rationale.

Higher prices - people believed the nonsense he spouted and that Fox News told them about how Trump is an economic genius - getting what they deserve.

Families broken up - if Hispanics for Trump didn’t care about them why should I?

If republicans get hurt in all this. Good. They can’t govern anyway so at least well only have 2 years of foolhardy legislation.

Looks to me as though the federal law enforcement agencies are going after the "low hanging fruit" and getting the really bad actors first. . . .and there sre plenty of them to find, then deport or incarcerate.
