Had corrupt US politicians not gotten involved a decade ago they’d still be the Switzerland of Eastern Europe. Of course they didn’t, far too many kickbacks, payoffs and no show jobs with energy suppliers (and who knows wtf else) to stay out of a regional dispute that has nothing to do with us.

It all matters. And a ton of people give AF. At least half of voters, anyway. And it sure "AF" isn't a "fact" that he is right. The rest is your opinion, and you are entitled to it. The rationalization ain't going so well, though.

I'm not going to bother to quote your "prediction" about the alternate future Ukraine might have had. It changes nothing about what Putin did. And about the risks he presents to global stability. Denial can be a powerful enabler. Putin laughs at all of us and our infighting bullshit.
