Ever drink it and quit? Or just never developed the taste?
Either way, you'll have more money as a result.

Katz Delis is open 24 hours. Great pie and coffee too. I have a feeling this thread isn't about coffee shops, but is the coffee shop. LOL

I use a Pyrex measuring cup as a coffee or hot tea mug, at home, because I never can correctly estimate the correct portions of coffee and milk.
Is it good to learn that the Dot Coffee Shop is still open! I have never been there, but know that it is a local legend. Of my previous all-night favorites, One’s A Meal seems to have disappeared, and House of Pies is still open, but, sadly, after the Panic-Demic, no longer open all night.
I am not nearly the night owl that I used to be, but, my bucket list includes re-living some “dream dates” of my past, that typically started with something like a movie or other evening event, followed by a lengthy stop at an all-night diner, and then, being caffeinated, and therefore not sleepy, ends up at the beach, listening to the waves, waiting for the sun to come up, while tasting coffee-flavored kisses. The beach part being “unplanned,” of course, meant that we would have had no swimsuits, with us, but, at sun-up, who is out there, to see anything? (I always kept towels in my truck.)

I just looked at the open hours of Mai’s restaurant, on Milam. They serve that powerful Vietnamese coffee, and on Friday and Saturday nights, are still open until 3:00 AM. That is enough caffeine to keep a person wide awake until mid-day. Some of my memorable early, early morning beach dates, as described in my previous post, were fortified by that coffee.

If the Barista is in a good mood, sometimes shots of Irish whiskey magically appear.
