It would be a vicious war. I can see people texting, taking selfies and live streaming this brutal smart phone/cloud battle to claim world dominance.

That was kind of my point.

Any political faction/fiction uprising would quickly be quashed the 82nd Airborne.

New Army and Air Force body armor gets fielded to the 82nd Airborne Division

https://www.armytimes.com/news/your-...orne-division/

Quote:
The 82nd was prioritized in the MSV fielding due to its Global Response Force mission, said Lt. Col. Stephen Miller, product manager for Soldier Protective Equipment. More Army units are to follow and the Air Force also chose to upgrade their body armor to the MSV.

The MSV fielding to the division is one year ahead of schedule, he said. An estimated 6,000 soldiers in the division, all close combat forces, are receiving the MSV in the coming weeks.

Slow game.

I wouldn't count on the US military to quell any civil unrest unless the left can successfully create a narrative. The military is not made up of order taking automatons. It is made of people who have a better understanding of the Constitution and responsibility than most. No, they would have to isolate the military from the rest of the population and feed them bullshit for some time so that when get questionable orders that they carry them out BEFORE they think about them. Once again, you make the mistake of thinking that a Civil War will be fought on the ground.
A modern civil war will be fought on the internet, TV, and other communication platforms. The idea is to co-opt your enemy and either get them to join your side or to stand down and do nothing. The latter is the most likely. The whole concept of domestic enemies is complicated. It depends on the perception of free and fair elections. The left idea of "I have the baton so I rule" doesn't really work in reality. The leaders like Milley may be political but the rank and file is not. They will support the elected leaders and if it becomes unsure who is really elected and who is just faking it, I think many will go back to the barracks and wait. The real leadership will have to remember China and Russia are the real enemies.

trB, I wouldn't exactly hold my breath if I were you about this fantasy civil war, but that's just me putting it mildly. I would like to word it more harshly but I'm kind of sitting on too many points right now and I just got out of an extremely torturous whore board bancation prison for time served. I'm still on probation though and I know some want to send me back to do more time. LOL

1.b. look as county land maps you will see all heavy population area are blue so it city against county. For 3000 years the city was where the handicap in war injured were taken care of there fore being more socialist.
2. Both parties are same Trump and biden the same. Look at stop and frisky vs gun control. One gives police power to be totalion, the other take away ways we can protect ourselves from totalionism. Unless there cut spending don't cut taxes because the money printed. There the city folk not going to farm. The farm need to sell it food and work. Don't see a battle front coming.

a negotiated settlement would be best for all

we get to pick something to have and then they get to pick

they would try to fool us in making our selections I think

they would make a big false bluster and fake chopping at the bit deception, acting like they want to make their first selection the constitution to sucker us into making it our selection when they really want mass state childcare as their first selection

little do they realize and much to their surprise the constitution is our real first selection

I don't expect much from the left. Thinking with imagination is not your strong point. But excuses? I would...but.

I like that selfie Ashlee Babbit took of herself

You and Trump should be proud of all those selfies. I say we all move next to Del Largo and storm it and take some selfies
