If one doesn't think Newsom, the nephew of the U.S. Speaker of the House and one of the most powerful people in the whole entire country, isn't going to have this recall election rigged somehow, whether it be through ballot harvesting or outright manufactured ballots, I respectfully don't think that person has been paying attention to U.S. Politics in this past year.
