Minorities come here because it's probably a step or two up from the place they're leaving.....and coming here just means they're still going to have to fight for their rights because they're not white male heterosexual christians. If you don't fit in all 4 of those categories you don't have all your rights and privileges and face discrimination daily.

Just because they're coming here doesn't mean this country is paradise or the best, just better than the one they're leaving.

I still wouldn't want to be a black man in this country, still discrimination in job markets and rent discrimination, regardless of hiring quotas and affirmative action. I never was a fan of affirmative action, I always felt that the best or most qualified person should be hired for the job regardless of race. If i coached a football team Jerry Rice in his prime could play for my team anytime.
