I am with Grace. Those of us who have lived this wonder life and hobby have pubic as well as private personalities. When I invite a “friend” to a social engagement we have already discussed our back story: how we met, what I find attractive with her, careers, ....

I also agree that any backstory or alias needs to be based upon my past life experiences so that the answer passes the sniff test.

I am in the hobby because I enjoy this lifestyle. When I need to bring a date to a public function I do so because we are professionals and both are comfortable in the setting. Do no harm should be the ultimate philosophy but also have fun.
