i have my own story about the university of texas and their program but i'll save that for another day
|
When I went to Texas the black students complained about a "minority retention problem" and I wrote to The Daily Texan that maybe being unqualified to attend the University contributed to the problem, but it wasn't published by that commie bullshit rag.
Just like the Ivy League I think everyone who shows up graduates from all these fake schools these days - must not hurt the little snowflakes feelings.

The value of an 'ivy League' education is plummeting due to the lack of rigor, plethora of race education studies- and systemic Socialist PC demands for conformity to marxism.
any student objecting - is a 'Racist'!

Yale University was named for Elihu Yale. Not just a man who had slaves. An actual slave trader. I call on @Yale to change it’s name immediately and strip the name of Yale from every building, piece of paper, and merchandise. Otherwise, they hate black people. #CancelYale

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Georgetown University used to pay its debts by selling hundreds of slaves

GTFOH ... you are talking out of the side of your ass. Let me ask you this - supposing there was quotas:
1. How did those students fare while at Harvard? Were they outmatched or where the able to complete the curriculum?
2. Is there data to indicate those who graduated were sub-par physicians?
We've heard the same thing about other colleges, military academies, pilots, nursing, yet I have anything to read that would indicate people of color are less capable than their counterparts.

Never in my life I have ever seen such a gross misinterpretation of an article. Y'all need reading comprehension 101.

I agree and maybe this pandemic and cancel culture will expose those dickheads for the frauds they are.

1. Everyone graduates anyway. (Medical schools work very hard to make that happen based upon the premise that anyone who makes it in deserves to graduate and society has put too many resources in it to let them fail but that just helps the stragglers sneak by and no one has the guts to tell them they are frauds except the ambulance chasers someday - although it may soon be illegal to sue black doctors)
2. Who could publish something honest on the subject if it proved blacks were not qualified?
3. I consider Asians to be completely qualified to attend those schools, BTW.

It wasn't a misinterpretation of the article. I didn't use it the way the quota apologist intended it but consider that a "statement against interest" on her part. You ever heard of misdirection - make the subject think it is about something entirely different so they let down their guard on the item you want them to admit or give you?
Try to be a little more creative and a lot less doctrinaire.

Some posters actually believe that the only information available is that posted in blogs and bullshit forums. They conclude no one has any knowledge or experience outside of Eccie and the internet social media.
Harvard Law School has a family/social/monetary acceptance standard for those desiring to attend the school and once in the faculty assures "success" for those "special ones" selected.
The Medical school, like most medical schools, provide students with academic assistance to make it to graduation, particularly when their introduction to the school is through "channels" ... as between the two...
..... generally speaking it is more challenging to graduate from law school and the medical school.

you keep bringing up Bushy Jr's academic record. so as usual i'll remind yous of AlGoretard's "impressive" grades ..
1. Al Gore
Gore’s the brainiest politician around, right? Possibly, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at his Harvard transcript. Gore apparently spent quite a bit of time loafing during his sophomore year, and some of his grades weren't very good: a D, a C-minus, two C’s, two C-pluses, and a B-minus, marks that put him in the lowest fifth of his class. Strangely enough, the D came in a class that sounds like it would be right in Gore’s wheelhouse: Natural Sciences 6 (Man’s Place in Nature).
2. George W. Bush
Gore’s foe in the 2000 presidential election takes a lot of ribbing for his intellect, but his college grades at Yale were more mediocre than embarrassing. Through his first three years at Yale, Bush’s grades averaged out to 77 on a 100-point scale. He only received one D during his college career, in an astronomy course.

This thread reminds of the saying.......
“What do you call the person that graduated dead last in Medical School”?
“Doctor”.
