If you were just discussing scheduling and had not reached an agreement, then new rate should apply. That's generally how it works in every other business I can think of. Not to argue with you but, that has not been the case around here lately. At the beginning of the year I was screened by three different ladies and in the process of my screening, they increased their rates. One of them went up about $100 and mentioned to me that now additional activities were part of her menu. I kindly stated that she was now outside of my budget and thanked her.
You would think they would honor the rate that was posted at the time you made the original request for the date but, and I mean to say, a big NO. The all refused to honor it. I had to decline on seeing all three.
