I have a very long thought out post, but my New Year's resolution was not to call Galt an idiot.

These freeloader businesses leach off of states, shop for the best deals, and play states against each other. The states are foolish enough to oblige.

If states were smart, they'd band together and lock out these predatory businesses. (Don't like the business taxes in my state? Move! And don't think you can move to a state that's a member of my compact. You'll also be barred from this state for the next 50 years if you leave.)
Longer, if you added the words "and Democrat" after the word Republican where it is used, I think I might actually agree with this post.

They have teachers in New Jersey making 100K and complaining about it plus their benefits.
My grief is with the teacher, firefighter, and police unions.
Longer, you NN, it wasn't GOP governors who negotiated with the unions, it was democrat governors who capitulated.

Maybe we should pay teachers the same as we pay the military for all of their suffering. No, wait, that would be a pay cut for the teachers. Cheaper...feel ashamed of yourself.

Oh snap! Or advocate the unionizing of our military. Seriously, the fact that the troops can't collectively bargain is a travesty of justice.

Default Teachers

Teachers don't get 3 hots and a cot with their package. As a peacetime Swabbie Galt you had it pretty good.

BTW you try living in NJ on $100K and after how many years?

Just an amateur rabble rouser and sound biter in the Palin and Bachman spirit ergo you are a dumb bimbo twat like them.

Actually we were told that we got TWO hots meals a day if available and TWO hours sleep. This peace time sailor maintains the same schedule and many of the dangers of wartime cruising. If you think it was safe, I got my billet on the USS Guam because my predecessor got himself killed working on the elevators. The USS Iwo Jima had a steam valve leak in the fireroom, the same place I stood my watches, and 10 sailors died. Another sister ship hit a mine and blew out their forward pump room. I can come up with three different occasions when I almost got killed or seriously injured. You have to keep your eyes open and you have to be quick.
Frankly I find it pretty offensive for Catnip to make fun of military people being killed in peace time. During the so-called Cold War a number of people died doing their jobs in peace time. Longer has been outed as a squid (or jarhead) how about you Catnip? What to volunteer your services?

I can't complain though, I volunteered to protect this country.

I have to point out that Catnip is trying to hijack this thread with things that have nothing to do with the topic. For shame.

Deacon,

For a person who can't form a proper sentence and doesn't know how to quote someone's post......you sir shouldn't be throwing any stones. And before you use the "but neither can Cheaper" excuse, we already know how Cheaper posts...from his days on ASPD.

Why do your posts always end up with YOU flinging an insult at someone? Couldn't you have disagreed with their posts instead of calling them dumb?
