Reviews definitely help verify providers. I don't see many girls and when I see someone on here or backpage I like, I check here for reviews and P411 to make the decision to call. I will also ask some providers I see if a certain person is legit or not. IMHO I don't understand why all providers aren't on P411 to verify clients.

Any form of "Word of Mouth" advertising is truly the best form of advertising for any type of business. Same goes for reviews of bad service. I recall reading a sales/service article once that referenced (and no, I don't have the primary source material), that a satisfied customer would relay their positive experience to 3 people, but a dissatisfied one would tell 10!

I agree with most of what's been said, a review of a well-established lady doesn't bring the same impact as one of a "new-found gem". But if she hasn't had one recently, it does serve to show if their service is maintaining the same standards (it doesn't always...). But a new review on a new girl from a credible guy can be the thing that truly kick-starts a new girls "career". She can skip the "Request/ISO, possible T-shirt" phase and have instant credibility.

A bad review doesn't mean the end of the world. A lady with a 10 good reviews and one bad one doesn't mean she's going to lose all her business. Could be a bad day, could be bad chemistry, and guys, believe it or not, maybe you/we/I were the asshole that day. It happens. And who writes it does have a lot of bearing. Some guys are notoriously finicky or are looking for something in particular that the girl may not be as strong at. Other guys fall in love with the last girl that got them off.

Also, guys, for an FYI, I do believe it's entirely possible for a girl to see HER reviews, and here's how. There's nothing that says a guy can't send the girl a copy of the review he intends to post BEFORE he posts it. But, again, we would be foolish to think they don't have access, since we already know, that some providers DO have ROS access. If they don't, they're BF, Husband, SO, pimp, driver or "business associate" does. Not every girl. Hell, not even close to the majority. But several, no doubt.

So, to sum it up, a review, good or bad, is usually a good thing. And for guys that don't have ROS, you completely miss many of the details that might add to your understanding. Most guys will give a "Yes" if a few criteria are met. 1) she's not a thief or scam artist, 2) her pics and ads are real and recent enough to be honest and accurate and 3) she provides the agreed upon service for the agreed upon price and 4) his safety was never jeopardized by the location/pimp/BF or dangerous illegal substances interfering with the session. That doesn't mean he had a great time, or that he'll see her again, or that he'd recommend anyone else does. It just means he didn't see any reason to trash the girl with a "no", as she might be good for someone else.

And, I wish all the ladies had as cavalier an attitude as Allie has professed. There are several instances where a girl got a bad review and has contacted the guy and blown up. There have been instances where she immediately contacts the mods saying that it's fraudulent and she never saw the guy. Hell, I had one where I got yelled at because I didn't write a review!! I was borderline whether to give a "yes" or "no" and saw another girl in between. It was one of those where I said "yes" to the other girl, but in ROS made it clear I probably wouldn't see her again. But the 1st girl got PISSED that I didn't review HER!!! Told me she wouldn't see me again (not that I'd asked) and all kinds of crap I don't remember. But again, some girls do really pay attention and can be quite vindictive if it's not to their liking. And that is what keeps many guys from posting the truth.

I almost live and die by the reviews because it kind of boils down to this: I hobby because if I wanted a crap shoot on what I could get and for how much or wanted to hear "I don't do this", "I don't do that", I'd go to bar and take my chances.

Reviews eliminate all that non-sense.

This happened to me in ASPD and when I was new to the site (not to hobby) and I posted my experience, of course its a -ve review. The provider (she is not active now...moved to central MO) instantly started a thread in Co-ed and said she never saw me.

Reviews can be good and they can be bad it depends to eachs own I guess.

I started hobbying long before they had websites like this up.

I started at the Old Mustang Ranch, before they changed hands. Back then, it was a hit and miss when it came to finding the right woman to do the things you wanted to do. It'd take me several sessions, and lots of money, to finally meet the woman that sat on my face just the way I liked it.

Thanks to these reviews, I could do some research to find out how receptive a woman would be to the activities that I like to do.

To be perfectly honest, I don't find ECCIE's reviews to be very helpful to me because the public portion doesn't contain anything useful to me. I find the reviews I get on other sites to be extremely helpful because I can see the details. Not only has it been helpful to read my own reviews, but reading reviews written by gentlemen I am preparing to see gives me alot of insight into their tastes, turn ons, and turn offs.

For clarity: There is no question that reviews are extremely helpful in terms of advertising and letting men know that I am legitimate. But as a source to let me know how I can be a better provider, ECCIE reviews are no help.

As a prospective client, ECCIE reviews have been extremely valuable in helping me select providers. It does take some research, but by being selective and thorough in my searches, I've had far better daydreams ever since, and IMHO have found two of the very best possible matches for me.

It's important that reviews are accurate, and I don't think drama should result if everyone's fair and civil about it. I always ask prior to posting a review how much detail the provider is comfortable with, and if there were any activities they want left out because of YMMV situations that may not be available to all. I then write as detailed a review as possible, and since I've done my homework in advance + honestly told the provider what I like best, my reviews are normally as positive and hot as my daydreams.

I do find it odd that providers are blocked from ROS details, and are barred from responding on review threads. Other sites don't do that, and in a number of cases shill reviews were shot down as a result on those sites (e.g. "This review is false, I don't do anything bareback"). I also feel that reviews are the place to report negative experiences, rather than trying to hide them (and starting firestorms) in the Locker Room. Those always turn out badly, when all it would take is an honest review that the Provider can learn from and make changes as necessary to maintain a mostly positive review list.

100% fair and honest reviews, that Providers can see and respond to with their side of the story, if necessary, would greatly improve this site.

+1 Stacy, if a provider is serious about her craft she would welcome all feedback. I totally agree that not only can she learn from her mistakes, but as you point out, it's just as valuable as a tool to understand what a client likes. Having said that, it ain't going to happen and the reality is that 75-80% of providers don't give a shit about their performance and I suspect the majority of clients don't bother to do any research. Great to have your input.

8x6: you need to consider that selling premium access is the predominant revenue stream for this (and several other similar) Websites. It is never going to change. It may (the administration of this Website) be at some level a labor of love and a service, but, someone has to pay the bills (and make a bit of change along the way - it is only fair). If this became a true non-profit that relied solely on donations, the Website would most likely be offline tomorrow. As they (ECCIE) don't tax the ladies to advertise (aside from the occasional banner advertisements - but that revenue is paltry in comparison to paid memberships), they tax the gentlemen . . . Yes, of course, you can write a review now and again and gain free access . . . but there is an innumerable number (I would estimate it at or greater than a thousand active at any one given time, perhaps in the thousands) of members here with post counts under 5 or 10 (and I would hazard a guess most all of those counts are the result of sending PMs to ladies they might desire to see) and they have paid for premium access . . . they've paid to see behind the curtain. These are the gentlemen that have NO interest in ever writing a single review (for myriad reasons) but those men enjoy making as informed a decision as they may make for the use of their hard earned dollars. they also might like to chat solely in the company of other men in the private lounge that they may access with said membership or read what they believe may be more open and honest postings from other gentlemen in those areas . . . away from (supposedly) the prying eyes of us gals.

I have a NRP, a no review policy, as a personal preference. I have not ALWAYS had that policy on every board I belong to - and I've tested the differences - collected reliable, interpretive data that indicates that FOR ME SPECIFICALLY having or not having reviews makes such a negligible difference (less than 1 or 2%) in my own business that I prefer to remain discreet and request they not be posted. It has NOTHING to do with the level of my service, mine is exemplary in most every respect as many can testify. As for feedback - I ask my clients for, and receive, direct feedback after most every session to help guide my future experiences and personally craft and mold my trade into one that is unparalleled. If I ever fail to meet an expectation, I address it immediately to ensure that there is never a disappointment. I am lucky in that I have a personality that allows others to feel that it is okay (and it IS) to be very open and honest with me while realizing that I want to please - they know I am not so fragile that I will fall apart if something wasn't right or I missed something my partner may have intimated or relied on me to discern - or we just didn't click . . . the best feedback is immediate and honest feedback given when the expereince is fresh, not sometimes days or weeks after the fact, IMHO.

A few people have spoke about "word of mouth" being the best form of advertising. They are SO right! How true! And, I've been able to enjoy such without the need to advertise heavily or have reviews published. I've been lucky that I do quite well, but, I also work very hard to guarantee that I satisfy my clients and provide a positive and professional experience free of "drama" and other entanglements and one that meets my client's needs and expectations and keeps them coming back for more (I have an over 90% client return rate) . . . but, as I have stated countless times here on ECCIE, I don't recommend the "no review" policy for the vast majority of providers or Escorts on the boards, unless they are VERY well established and literally "known from coast to coast like butter and toast". A few (some here in KC) come to mind - and they are all in a class by themselves . . Carlie (CORE), my dear friend; Electra Glide in San Fransisco; Mistress Eve in Denver . . . it can be done and done well - but it is very hard (but mightily rewarding) work. In many instances, it adds to the enticement (having no reviews but possibly receiving a strongly worded private recommendation from an established fellow member) and actually, it may help turn the appointment to me if another lady is being considered. Note also, a no review policy does not eliminate one from suffering a complaint or a warning if it is warranted - we ladies (those that share my same view and philosophy and style of working) give superlative experiences, so there is never a reason for such to be written.

Well said, Jackie. I can certainly understand a No Review policy, but in my specific case it kept you off my radar while I was in Search mode. And I understand the economics of selling Premium access, and wasn't suggesting that all info be available to free members. But to my limited knowledge, ladies can't view ROS even if they purchase Premium access. That's the part I found strange.

That said, I certainly agree with your position that good communication during the visit is the surest path to happy and well-satisfied repeat customers. Sounds like you've found what works best for you and your clients, and that's what's most important.
