Yep and we get to send the Republican carpet baggers in to take over the "reconstruction".

There will not be any "war", the California government would actually have to allow people to keep and bear arms.....lolfl

... you mean as opposed to "bare arms"?

They get that confused, you know?

I'm also not concerned about it for another reason ...

... we know how the last war with Mexico ended.

It wouldn't be much of a war. All the people with the ability to fight it are the same people that wouldn't want it. The lefties would be the warmongers and they'd liable to shoot their own feet off first. The inner city gangbangers are the only ones capable of fighting a war...in the city. Just surround San Fransisco and wait for them to devour each other.

Is this what you all want? To break up the union? All these talks about secession is treasonous.
I agree.

Back when certain groups were talking about Texas seceding, I said then that I am an American First, and a Texan Second.

We have ample precedent as to the consequences of a State wanting to secede. Go ahead. Do it. See what happens.

The next sound you hear will be the a modern day version of "Shermans March To The Sea."

President Trump will channel his "inner Lincoln", and order the United States Armed Forces not to stop until they reach the Pacific Ocean.

So, would Russia side with California or with the US?
Think about it for a few minutes.

one downside, ca secession would result in a longer border. about 9000km from Texas to Oregon.

Calexit. Good idea, bad idea. We had all the leftists decrying the idea that Texas could, or would, secede from the union but now the Berkenstock is on the other foot. What if California secedes? Can they? Should they? Do they have to take their share of the national debt (including Obama's 10 trillion dollars)? Do they take it per capita? How about that they take a larger share if they voted overwhelming in favor of each president who increased the debt? I assume that they have to pay for all federal land and constructs inside California or there could be war. After all, it was the insistence of the South that Fort Sumter belonged to them and not the federal government who built it. Speaking of "you didn't build that", what about the interstate highways? They have value. Dams, airports, military bases, national monuments...

California may have water now but in the future they're going to have to buy their water from out of state again. Same thing for energy since they refused to build any new power plants. Food? Man (and woman) do not live by almonds and avocadoes alone.

There's more thought provoking things when I have time.

I assume that all of our libtard friends will move to California as soon as the separation becomes reality.
You assume a lot of things. Based on a lot of misconceptions. Misconceptions is about as polite I can get. The only reason I can think of is you believe stuff like that because you want to. I think you're wasting your time thinking about it. You people don't get into the details of these stories, do you? The stories I read all said "California" wants to secede. A small group following the rules in Kansas for putting a measure up for consideration would cause those same sources to say "Kansas" wants to secede, not the small percentage that signed the petition. Someone or a group of people has put the motion or measure or whatever method CA uses for initiatives. There is no wide spread support. They will secede by way of an earthquake long before they would vote for it.
California wanting to secede is fake news. A group in CA trying to get the measure on the ballot is real news. Can you see the difference between the 2 stories?

That's because the Governor is fake! Californians have a history of putting shit on the ballot and then finding out about it later!

The pass shit that sounds good on paper and then when its implemented it is a disaster. Just like ObaminableCare!

See Pelosi!

Such an angry bitch..
Fake what? He can't be more fake than our moron ex-governor, our current dick who collected a huge settlement when younger but is suddenly for damage caps, and not to mention our current douche-bag in charge. A guy who is already spending every penny that might be saved by dumping Obamacare. Many economists predict the deficit will double by 2020.

But back to California. What kind of shape are they in economicaly and socially? Not for you nazis. For regular folk?

The whining losers aka Liberals don't want "America First" ...

... they are even burning their own bastions of Liberalism.

If California separates from the U.S. they are going to need the local colleges and universities ... why burn them?

Did you notice how those "brave" Liberals hid their identity .. and dressed like ISIS?
