Justification of their existence. It was not coincidental that the unions (including the Federal workers) were allowed to have their "Cadillac" health insurance plans under ObaminableCare ... since companies "qualifying" for the mandatory provisions of the Act were "allowed" to shift their health coverage requirement to the unions ... even in "right to work" states like Texas. It forced the non-union workers into the union system and the unions then tried to charge them "dues" as a condition of taking their applications for health coverage ... when the unions could DO NOTHING regarding the non-union "shops" as far as benefits or "rights" ... a rep would show but no clout.
Just trying to be "important"!
