It is extremely difficult, almost impossible. I have a friend who is one of the few legitimate therapists in the area that deals with sexual dysfunction, counseling, etc. This person is NOT a surrogate, but is basically a legit mental health counselor (i.e. has a degree, license, takes insurance, etc.) with part of their practice devoted to sexual issues. As such, this person has known a few legit surrogates in the business. And tells me that there are almost none. There is too much stigma and double-standard bullshit around it. Even in an area that is supposedly as "progressive" as New York state....there just ain't any. Supposedly Canada is a different story. But around here...or anywhere else that this person knows of...it ain't gonna happen.
