I think pre-screening may vary depending on the provider.
Some of us may be very strict in screening while others may only have a couple questions and even others only take references if they aren't newbie friendly.
There is a list stickied in coed of newbie friendly providers, but I'm sure there may be more that aren't on it.

I really don't mind pre-screening and really don't care if someone I've screened never ends up scheduling for one reason or the other. Life happens. Getting pissy about it accomplishes nothing. The only time I'd would be peeved is if the gent was just using the pre-screening to try to engage my attention over and over again so it's obvious they are just desperate to have someone adknowledge them.

That said I've sat on a pre-screen for months...especially newbie pre-screening since they trusted me with thier personal info. The least I can do is be patient.
