Of course your time should be respected. And as long as they are not abusing your time, the humanity of your client should be respected as well. If nothing else, it’s good business.

Life is "usery" by nature...That's not cynicism it's general assessment. But like I'm saying at least in the hobby it's a given on both sides of that equation and each side knows it. It still is respected because both parties have chosen to accept that. Like I say allusions to illusions and the money exchanged for the time to do it.

I agree. Respect is definitely a two way street. I consider myself to be one that is extremely lenient with time constraints, and also one that has offered ample extra phone time, e-mail time, and extended time in many other ways, as do most providers found here at this board.
Let's keep this realistic, though. If several clients continually impose on a lady's time, how much free time would she have left if she catered to them all???

I am going to respond in a few ways . . .IF WE ARE STRANDED/NO WAY OUT . . .
IF this is a regular client of whom I have spent "extra time" with previously and we are both stranded, and I have no other clients coming, what they hey stay and hang out until it's clear! We'll watch a movie or play cards
If this is a first time client whether we have had good chemistry or not spending extended time alone with them would be uncomfortable and I would work with our surroundings to make it a more public stay. I stay in hotels with workout rooms, pools, bars/restaurants . . .we'll find something to do
IF the gent has a way out or home and the weather is not white out stranding, he should respect her time and space and leave, at least to a near by mall shopping center or restaurant.
It goes both ways . . .
As I recall a certain someone did not leave me stranded, I woke up violently sick (fever, vomit, ect.) at my in call to the arrival of a gentleman who drove 2 1/2 hrs to see me for an extended date, instead of having our date he stayed there and helped nurse me back to health watching movies . . .
Certainly those who have no problem giving or doing extra for me I have no problem doing or giving extra for them. It's only those who purposely try to impose, invade, haggle, or take advantage of me I have a problem giving more to.
Elmira I will be providing out there in this storm!!! Let's see how much desire outweighs mother nature!!

The problem I have with your "hypothetical" scenario is that you are already planning to get stuck, which is not cool. If you're afraid of the storm, cancel your appointment. Snowstorms rarely show up out of nowhere. We all listen to the weather. If you plan on seeing someone prior to or during a storm you should plan on a way home.

Actually, no, I was not PLANNING on getting stuck. I was joking with her when I said it. But because of her response I have already canceled and plan on being close to my loved ones.

Well, I'm not sure what you want in that 24 hour stranded period. If you were stranded at the mall, would you expect stores to give you merchandise? If you were stranded at your lawyers office, would you expect your lawyer to donate his time?
I don't think anyone should push someone out into dangerous weather, however, that doesn't mean you deserve free or reduced fee service because you are stranded. In a reverse situation, I don't think you would deserve free or reduced service because the escort was stranded at your place.
The humane thing to do is offer shelter and food to a stranded person. Nothing more and certainly no expected and unpaid entertainment from either the host or the stranded.
I think her response was absolutely appropriate. It sounds like you would like to get something and so would she.

Actually in high school, when classes got canceled for a storm, my buddies and I jumped in my car and drove 20 miles to the largest mall in the area.
We were one of very few cars on the road as the blizzard was beginning to dump several feet of snow. The mall let all the "stranded" people stay and it turned into a party. The movies were free at the multiplex along with free popcorn. Our plan worked like a charm. The one downside, I'll never be able to drink an Orange Julius again.
Great adventure and a good story.

strangly this situation played itself out
in real life for me. a couple years ago the beautiful jenna love http://www.eccie.net/eccie_showcase....preview&g=1319 visited rochester during the new years holiday. this was one woman i dreamt about having i was just fascinated with this girl. i made an appointment for the afternoon of new years eve and prepared to drive up to rochester from buffalo. as luck would have it buffalo / rochester got pounded by a blinding white out storm that dumped over 2 feet on the area. the last thing in the world i wanted to do was cancel with a woman i so desired but i called to do just that. back then i think jenna's rates were about 250/300 hr. when i called to cancel she was understanding as she had heard the highways were terrible. i asked her what she would do with her day and she said she might put some crazy deal on the boards like 200 for 90 minutes in hopes of recouping some of her travel costs from some close by rochester guys [ i see from current pricing rates have changed in the last couple years]. well snowstorm or not i was not gonna miss the opportunity to enjoy one of the worlds sexiest women at the deal of the century so i told her i was comming. normally this charged up i would be driving 90 mph on the i90 but really going 40 was quite an accomplishment. the only thing going fast that day was my heart. i must have called jenna 3 times telling her im running late but ill be there. well the normal 1 hr 15 minute drive took 3 1/2 hrs that day but after seeing jenna an 8 hr ride through a white out would have been well worth it. the 90 minutes with this beauty were what dreams were made of. when finally we were finished jenna snacked on her left over lunch and i just gazed at her beauty [she was still naked]. i told her i only wish i had brought more $ as i could have enjoyed her all afternoon. jenna replied she was only gonna sit around the hotel all afternoon anyways and if i wanted to go one more round on the house it was fine. within seconds i was back inside the most beautiful woman i ever had sex with for another 1/2 of heaven. the few dollars i was able to leave as a tip could neither begin to account for what her time was worth of the memory she provided me with. to this day it is my greatest hobby memory and one of the fondest memories in my life. as spectacular a memory as that was rochester recently provided my all time low moment in the hobby when rochester's sexiest women canceled an appointment i had scheduled as i foolishly mentioned on this board the day i was to see her [ it was a case of me just being so excited and the anticipation i should have contained my enthusiasm but i felt like a nervous giddy teenager]. i guess it kinda shows how much we guys anticipate and treasure those once in a lifetime moments that make life worth living and how much we regret missing the opportunities that slip away from us. guys if jenna love ever hits your neck of the woods let her give you the memory of a lifetime. Some say the best things in life are free, well this wasn't exactly free but if i had a million dolllars i do not think i could have the smiles or memories $200 bought me one memeorable new years eve in rochester

Great that Jenna did that for you but its rather fusterating knowing you were gonna cancel your 1hr I assume but when you found out she was gonna do a deal for 90, suddenly the drive wasn't that bad.

You've gained some more insight into how the male "little head" thinks.
It's also vastly easier to feel compelled to make that drive to the incall location then it is to get fired up for the trip home.

i guess you
saw a $1000 dress or $400 pair of shoes that was on sale for 75 percent off but you had to drive 45 minutes to get them you might not make that special effort. yes the drive was that bad but the great deal combined with the incredible service and special treatment made the effort well worth the drive. try getting a 50 percent off dining deal at the best restraunt in town on valentines day.. not gonna happen but a half off dining deal on a monday night in february might get a few folks out in the cold to eat when normally a night in would suffice.like so many providers are quick to point out this is a business and Jenna as a good businesswoman realized the supply and demand of the situation and recouped some of her investment while making a fan for a lifetime.. over the last 3 years i have recommended her to 5-6 board members who ended up seeing her [whether my word had anything to do with their decision is tough to say ] at her normal prices. again i can only say how much her kindness meant to me and hopefully it has come back to her in some wayquote=BrookeButtons;985455]Great that Jenna did that for you but its rather fusterating knowing you were gonna cancel your 1hr I assume but when you found out she was gonna do a deal for 90, suddenly the drive wasn't that bad.[/quote]

This is a good point. Bob recalls a story about getting stuck at a mall and watching a movie and getting some popcorn for free, which is actually a cool story, but these are hardly high ticket price items. It is a far cry from asking or expecting someone who provides a $250-$300 per hour service to give you a freebie.
Personally, if the get together was at a hotel and I was suddenly snowed in, I guess I would just have to bite the bullet, get out the old credit card and rent myself my own room for the night.
If the hotel had a bar, I would probably invite the provider to have some drinks off the clock, but I wouldn't be offended if she declined.

I just like telling that story. It has no other meaning then the recollection of young stupidity.
She's free to get you out the door whenever she wants.
Expecting freebies is out of line. Offering to buy drinks at the hotel bar along with an acceptance should be off the clock.

personally i would also
get out the card and grab a room. if in the 1 in a million chance the provider would enjoy my company [not likely] enjoy sex with me [highly unlikely] and be open to having casual unpaid sex [virtually impossible] i would welcome it do everything humanly possible to entertain her and make the experience bearable at least. if by some chance this did occur i can tell you she would be on the top of my list for repeat on a paid basis and someone i would recomend highly.the fact that hobbiest and provider should disagree on this point is not surprising as provider is in this buz for money and hobbiest for sex.both are understood and if for a brief moment the relationship strays from that course count your blessings and be prepared to go back to real world [all of us guys have been lucky enough to score a girl thanks to her over consuming alcohol the trick is to remember when she sobers up she will want nothing to do with us, appreciate we got a few minutes or hours of pleasure and move on
