No one has claimed responsibility for placing a bomb. While it seems there is no irrefutable proof, that I am aware of, that a plane hit the pentagon, there is no irrefutable proof one didn't.

On top of that, a bomb that created that level of damage would have left bomb residue that would identify the explosive compound used. It would have been all over the place.

Yeah. I see your point. It just seems like there would be pictures of some larger, more easily identifiable pieces. One comment in your link mentioned the tail section with numbers on it. Why are there no pictures of that? Just curious.
