Welcome to ECCIE Upstate, where useless trolls are a way of life here! Don't get excited "oiwantitbad", when summer comes back, they'll be gone and you'll have the chance to pose intelligent questions then. Winters are long here and most of these guys are retired doing crochet with their old lady at night until she goes to bed. Then they jump on the computer in search of reviews that will give them a hard-on but the good ones are hard to find so they resolve to trolling which is the next best thing to doing crochet with the old lady

I would disagree with this. There is nothing magic about writing a review that should allow special privileges above what someone like Plastic Man has with his hard earned lifetime PA. After all, he put a cash infusion into the site. Did you? The site runs on money, not reviews. Add in the fact that many reviews are fake reviews that are done for guys to get PA while the cash route can't be faked.

I think the best way to improve things would be to have less rules not more. They should be based on a few fundamentals, like outing, that could seriously harm someone.
Then give the mods the power to enforce them without impunity.

For sure there's nothing magic about writing a review and there shouldn't be rules around that. However, reviews are probably the life blood of the site. It's why guys come on here and they build provider reputations. Which in turn brings more members and that brings in the ad revenue. I'd bet the ads are far more lucrative than lifetime PA from the likes of PM.
Not a lot of mongers are gonna log on to eccie just to hear Paulie blow himself hard.
