But think about this... what if the police or medical crew ask you the person's name or any other personal information. Shit will seem very suspicious. Here's how this could play out.

Police Officer: "Mam I need you to calm down first... what's the gentlemen's name? Does he suffer from any known allergies? Can you tell me what happened?"

Provider: I don't know his name.. his handle is BigDickJon... I was giving him a bbbj, with DT trying to get him to CIM....

Police Officer: WTF... what is bbbj, DT and CIM? and by the way you don't know his real name...

Been there, done that.

A gentleman passed out in the hot tub of my hotel room after combining booze, blood pressure meds, anxiety pills, Viagra, and over-heated water without telling me. (Gentlemen, please be aware in your pursuit of happiness that some things DON'T mix as well as a happy hour drink.) I didn't panic (those ancient Red Cross classes kicked in), checked his pulse and his breathing, was able to get him out of the tub and revived, although I had one hand on the phone seconds before he came to. I was already working on a story for the first responders about married dating sites and discreet fun while working on him, and I did know his name, but thankfully didn't need to call anyone. He rested for a while, got dressed, and decided perhaps he'd best reschedule. I made sure he was completely coherent and able to drive before he left. Very nice fellow, but so embarrassed. His last communication told me that his doctor had read him the riot act.

Second time I was visiting a fellow's room when he started having heart palpitations and became dizzy and disoriented. I called the front desk and 911, got his shirt and pants on him by the time the ambulance arrived, stuck his wallet and his phone in his hands on the way out so that I couldn't be accused of anything should they come up missing. Told the hotel detective that I had met him in the lounge and he had invited me up, and no, I knew nothing about him. No mention was made of money changing hands, of course. My info was taken, I left, and never heard another word. (I certainly hope he was okay, but he never answered my subsequent "vague" email, and I thought it prudent not to contact him any other way. Frustrating never to know the outcome, however.)

I have considered how I might handle such an incident happening at my incall apartment, and as someone else alluded to, not my responsibility to explain to anyone's family. All I have to do is make sure that the gent gets proper treatment asap, an ambulance if required, be certain all of his belongings go with him, and tell the authorities that I met him at a bar, restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, whatever. Up to the fellow to retrieve his vehicle and fashion a suitable cover story, something all you Hobbyists ought to pre-plan "just in case."

The exception to this would be if one of my widowed and/or divorced regulars (who I know extremely well) took ill, and in that case I would accompany the ailing gent to the hospital as his family would already be aware of his "girlfriend" and expect it. Strange and stressful circumstances under which to meet to meet, but not that unusual in this day and age. Spent a lot of time beside with a favorite fellow a few years back prior to his passing.

I was thinking instant, but your question just made me re-evaluate a strongly held belief.

Before now, I've always thought that the whole BBFS crowd were fucking idiots. I have to admit that as with most things, my view is jaded by my own circumstances. I still have a good 30 years in front of me.

But............what about the 65-70 year old crowd? If diet and viagra can still provide you the wood to screw hookers, is that time to throw caution to the wind and only go with ones offering BBFS?

The drugs they have now a days can keep you going a good 5-10 years. After having lost loads of relatives to cancer, I'm thinking dying by HIV induced pneumonia might not be a bad way to go.

Back in my Paramedic days, we saw a lot worse than this.
Both criminally and just WTF worthy.
EMS is there to save lives, unless a truly super asshole LE is at the scene, there is not much to worry about legally.
Now how you explain to your SO why you are in the hospital is a different story.

It depends... SWIM (heh) had to once had a guy have a heart attack suddenly in the middle of a session. He would get a 911 call.

SWIM has also had a belligerent asshole come see her and threaten physical harm for no reason other than because he was a dick who thought he could terrorize everyone. For his effort he got a boo boo upside the head and went sleepy bye for a spell. That bitch didn't get 911 but rather woke up (lucky for him) in the stairwell wondering wtf happened.
