They still have to "elect" a Vice President. In the old rules that was the job of the Senate. Of course, it has not been done in 200 years so who knows what would happen. Like I said, imagine the fallout. Not only would the democrats scream but so would the conservative republicans. I imagine that you might get a president who only recieves about 200 House votes setting aside the dems and the Tea Party constituency.
