My ECCIE Reviews
|
I have 3 reviews on Eccie.
I have 14 reviews on TER.
(A couple are cross-overs.)
I have a few others, singularly, on other stray websites.
I have never once advertised nor hinted towards any discount for reviews or review specials.
I have not once been asked by a reviewer (or potential reviewer) for a discount for a review nor the promise of a review.
There is a part of me that definitely feels it is somewhat of a conflict of interest, or the feeling of "buying a review."
I have reviewed purchases online, and never was once offered a discount either.
I did it for the sake of honesty and interest of being an informed consumer.
As I myself like to read reviews, in the interest of fair play, I also review things when I find them impressive (and I am highly pleased- as a courtesy not only to other consumers, but for the business itself) or if I find something worthy of complaint and as a fair warning towards others that I wish I had recieved myself- and as complaint for the businesses themselves to note. Now whether they acknowledge or dismiss those reviews... who knows? It is nice to be acknowledged and for improvements to be implemented. More often than not.... no acknowledgement is made, however.
I never expect to be compensated for one of my own reviews, other than the continuation of the review system.

I find it strange that some of you fine ladies get asked and some of you do not.

If a lot of the women here don't like being hit up like that why don't they just flat out say in in their ads or showcase that they don't do review specials?

I can see that about not liking to be hit up for a review special. After all it's not like we are buying a mustang and need to talk doe the sticker price . I never did it , but has stayed I have no problem reviewing, plus (in my mind) o the lady you come off cheap an that could lead to bad service .

Why should we have to add "I don't do review specials"???

This what happens if we do not fill out the "Current Specials" and leave it blank.
(And I am wondering how this is not self-explanatory? Not trying to come off like a royal Biotch here.... But.... I offer no special, I leave it blank, this is how it appears on my showcase.... what's the confusion?)

Guys are always going to try and negotiate or get a cheaper rate.

my 2 cents on this is this:
if she offers, does she give the man the discount on the session they are about to have or does he have to come back for a different session after the review has been written?
If the latter does she honor it?
If the Former does he write the review after the fact?
there are too many ways one could rake the other over by either not writing the review after receiving the discount or forgetting they offered a discount on the next session

Why would an established provider offer a review special?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with how long it takes for you gentlemen to write a review and ROS of all the juicy goods. What I'm getting at is the 150 special that c44 keeps gripping about Which I don't see that one ever happening.
