Nobody'60's analogy is still fair, Lexus. The money was worked for, depended upon, expected on time, and then, "Poof!" It did a disappearing act. How to react?

Coming from a a lusty lass who has been around a while (ME), I can tell you that is one of the most distressing and disconcerting things that can happen to a provider, and it does put a lady off her game for the rest of the day. Can be difficult to feel anything else other than anger, frustration, and disappointment, much less pleasure, or the generosity of spirit necessary to give others pleasure.

Been quite a few years since that happened to me, but when it did last occur, it was someone I had seen several times before and it was an overnight, so even more unsettling and upsetting. Yes, I reported him everywhere, but it didn't make me feel any less taken advantage of, and it took a couple of days to mellow back out to my normal, sassy self.

Quite a sympathetic response from the OP, and I commend him for his understanding and patience. Not his place to post the guy's handle, however, and for all we know, the lady may have already alerted on him. Usually such reports are best left to the provider-only areas so that the offender won't read it and start hassling her, or, as someone else noted, just change his handle.

I wish her better lays, er, days, ahead.

If you run your own business you've been ripped off before and I have. OP stated she cancelled on him and someone else because of an earlier appointment so it wasnt her only booking. This is part of running your own business, things happen but you move forward and do not let it hold you down. Like I said I feel for whoever it was.

To be honest I don't know why I'm even discussing this, y'all have fun.

Oh, I absolutely "get" what you're saying. But what's not in the equation, and others are trying to share their thoughts about it, is this business REALLY affects your head and heart.

It's a sales job. And a healthcare worker job. It's a physical one as well. But it's a job. And when you don't get paid? Oh gosh ... it's happened to me. More than once. Like what happened to the lady above.

Had this heavy appointment. Tough one but well, sweaty. And when it was done?

It's such a violation. And when it happens, most females need a bit of time to readjust. Get the head and heart together again.

For whatever reason, this is VERY easy for me to understand. Perhaps it's one of those men are from Mars and females are from Venus things.

And sometimes, not making an alert, or following through with something like that ... is what a women needs to do to just get over a really unpleasant happening. Bless her.

nope. it isn't. even I get it. and if someone isn't a robot/A.I. or a psychopath, I think it is (whichever condition that is without morals/feelings), then it makes sense. however you term it, explain it, the hobby is largely built on social constructs. for most I think.

To the provider., please send me a pm so I know who to watch out for. And I'm sorry this happened to you. Some ppl don't understand that this business is not all about phisycality, we put much more than that. Feeling violated is only one thing, there's more to what we feel. It's asses like this that ruin the fun out of this business for providers.

I think at least leaving the money on a dresser or night stand to be taken when the services are rendered should be SOP. But we are all human and things slip our mind sometimes. I recall a session I had with Danny at PA, I completely forgot to take the money out of my pocket. I did not realize until about an hour after the session. What is more incredible is that Danny never did notice. But the deference between me and these scumbags is that I immediately called Angel and made arrangements to return with the money. I even through in a good tip because I felt bad about it.

If one of my clients passes a thorough credit check (screening) and they end up not paying, I'm pissed. I earned that money and despite the fact I need it, what's worse is the reminder that the world is full of a$$holes with no conscience who have no problem taking advantage of others (stealing is just one way these scumf*cks do it). That being said, sh*t happens even with stringent screening procedures and you just have to take your lumps and move on. Dwelling on it for too long is counter-productive and the deadbeat loser isn't thinking twice about what he did.
