Now, question... A lady has a track record of NCNSs... Client schedules appt anyway. Many fish in the pond, but he wants the one that has a history of getting away. Is he to expect to be taken care of by a lady who is famous for poor TCB? How much does HE value his time?
An excellent Point Mamm.... I believe that he would have the right to be made whole in some manner if he truly did not know her reputation but he should handle that between himself and the lady. Other than posting in regards to his experience so he can be ridiculed and humiliated I would suggest to him that he forfeits his right to whine about it here in light that he was a total idiot for rolling the dice in light of the negative reputation the provider had already obtained here. I would also suggest that others had no business being involved in trying to crucify the lady over it other than reporting the issue and keeping the issue in front of people so that others could see it.
The board is about information..... not about strong arm collections...

Agreed. It just gets murky on who is supposed to know and who is not. I would say that, if he is a member of an information board but fails to do his homework, and if she is known to be terrible at keeping her commitments, then he falls under the "other" category.

Exactly. We could easily say a free session on the ladies part. I would easily do that for someone, but I can't imagine I would ever do that. TSkes two seconds to text or call someone to let them know donething has come up. Shoukd a gentlemen pay double or offer to give the full amount for the hour even though no appointment occurred?

I don't think many mongers would try to schedule someone KNOWN for repeated NCNS. There is only one provider that I have done that with, and whenever I do, it is always for something right away, not something in the future for that very reason.
I don't mean to derail the conversation, but that actually brings up something that I have thought about for a while... it isn't easy to know that a provider is KNOWN for NCNS, because we aren't allowed to write a negative review for NCNS. The only way to know is if that person bitches about it somewhere and that other mongers know to look there to find out and that the provider didn't decide to change her handle. As it is now, it requires that much more investigation, and therefore time on the clients part to have to do that investigation to find out about those types of things.
