Because ncns waste gas and time. If you were to waste 30min, and $15 dollars of their gas, you can bet your ass that you would get blasted in the ladies area.

Agree. However, I'm willing to let it go the first time but anything after that will draw my ire. Some of these NCNS's can really cost in gas money but then again I don't care if I only spent $5 in gas don't waste my time.
Cancellations in advance I can deal with so as long as the lines of communication are open. A provider from another city told me once: " hey I'm still at the club so I probably won't make it in the morning." It was 3:00am I LOL but it was cool. She didn't hit me with that NCNS mess.

These threads never end well.
Sometimes there are communications issues, which there may been in this case, but only the two people involved will ever know for sure, so it's blah, blah, blah, but that's where a good reputation can make a difference in the balance.
Addressing NCNS overall, this is a business, albeit one with a great deal of fantasy, but it is not fantasy to expect anyone who made a commitment (I think of it as a contract, myself, made verbally over a cell or in writing via email, text, or PM) to show up short of a disastrous reason. Stuff happens, but there are way too many NCNS on BOTH sides, and BOTH sides SHOULD be upset.
If we start accepting sub-par behavior, it becomes a normal standard.

Caroline is a beautiful women and I would defiantly recommend he do try to see her. I think she is worth her price and it might help him feel better. Here is my public reference. He's legit.

Scratch me off the list....but this isn't way I do business. You misread my response honestly.
Here is my thoughts.....Some girls NCNS because They don't want to see that person and are too afraid to tell them no. Cause telling a guy no I won't see you, can have a very negative effect on someone and a NCNS instead doesn't do as much damage.
Some stay up too late and forget or don't wake up with their alarms....this has happened to me before and I've admitted it.
Some are just flaky and don't care.
I AM NOT SAYING NCNS IS RIGHT. But do we honestly know the whole story? NO!! So a good provider NCNS. someone and everyone jumps on bandwagon to say she's like this, come on.
Lesson OP, no matter reputation, always have a backup plan.
As for me, I've had my mistakes in The Hobby. I'm human. But we all learn and try and do better.

NCNS (even NS) can be more damaging than just gas money.
I work by the hour, and I work my ass off. There have been occasions I cancelled or "didn't attend" a meeting or obligation that I was going to get paid for. Now....this is my own personal choice and I live with it. Sometimes, I can make up the work at another time (stay up late) and sometimes the chance for the revenue is gone....lost. But,...again...my choice.
However, recently I changed a four hour meeting into a 1 hour phone call so that I could see a provider that I'd been trying to hook up with. Last minute,...car trouble. I did receive the call and I even offered to come help her but a cousin was coming. But still....I was pissed at the situation...I lost three hours pay for that. I still love the lady and understand shit happens....but it cost me a bunch of money.
I can tell other stories....but the effort is futile. Just understand that either side not fulfilling the commitment is A BAD THING.
An No...I usually don't make a Plan B. If I wanted to fuck Plan B, I would have scheduled with Plan B.
Anyway...maybe I'm rambling. No time to make it perfect today.
