Late Night/Last Minute Callers...what's the deal?

My sleeping habits are out of whack, so I don't mind a late call every now and then.

I work shift work nad while at work if I see an ADD on back page or eccie that offers 24hrs I'll call. If not I'll wait and call during the day in advance.

Kudos Ash! How hard is it to do what you just did? Duh! READ who is available and contact accordingly....my what a concept lol.

It's not so much the actual emails, but the flat out ignorance of not considering how the hell would a reference check be done at 1:00 a.m. and last minute? Seriously! Most girls take a while to get back if at all in this area which is pretty sad.

Many guys are accustomed to thinking that all providers are just sitting around in make-up and lingerie all day waiting for the phone to ring, and some are....but when a schedule is posted, or you read things in her ads like, "NOT AVAILABLE FOR SHORT NOTICE OR SAME DAY APPTS, ONLY AVAILABLE MONDAY AND TUESDAY FROM 2-10, NO WEEKENDS LOCALLY," it's usually for a reason lol.

Common sense would say, "not this girl" lol, but we all know how far commom sense goes when a guy has a hard on.

Even when I travel I am not available 24/7, but since I don't have the hassles of working around school, work, a baby, as I do back home I am much more flexible in offering short notice provided I can verify them.

The concept of Independent providers who require references is still a bit foreign to some men....they still have the old agency mentality of I want it when I want it, and you should just trust that I am not a cop or a serial killer.....your options are very limited on ladies who will see you that way, and it's usually the same ones who post alerts about getting busted or set up because they were too stupid to take precautions.


In short, I feel your pain Nina lol. I could understand this if we ALL gave the impression that we had nothing better to do but this, but when a girl's busy life is right in your face a light bulb should go off telling you she is not the type to just be at your beck and call.

Most women I know here have children either at home or in school, another job, they are in school themselves etc...all of which require scheduled appointments. Some even have boyfriends who don't know what they do....again, takes some planning and plotting to get away. Yes I know it's hard to believe this, but even hookers have lives other than sex 24/7 lol. I especially love the ones who email on Christmas and Thanksgiving lmao.

This is why I stopped putting a phone number on the internet....posted hours and times to call just seem to slip by some people, and your hobby phone going off at the wrong time is not fun to deal with. It's a miracle getting a guy to even read your rates and what city you are in, much less when you are even available lol.

Sometimes it would be nice if they brought back the old blue light brothels. I do not care what time of day or night it was there was always something cookin.

Awhile back there was a thread comparing the talent pool in Vegas verus Louisana/N.O.-B.R.., that is one good thing about Vegas there is always a provider available 24/7 at all class levels and price ranges. Then there is nothing like a trip to Amsterdam to really kick in a good time. In good ol Amsterdam you can go window shopping at any hour.

Agree with UTR, but the fact is you are comparing areas in which this is legal to locations in which we have to know what is coming through the door.

There is no need for reference checks when you are going to a Brothel...you are protected there by having a slew of other people within ear shot in case something goes wrong.

You are also comparing girls who have to work those hours, vs. those who only do this part time. When you work for an agency or brothel you are required to put in a certain amount of hours, or they show you the door and hire the next girl willing to work herself to the bone.

We don't have that luxury here, and it is afterall election time lol.

It is a very, very rare occurence for me to try to set up any appointment via phone! I don't care for texting. I always try email first. If I already know the girl.... there's a chance I may call.... but again, I'm usually trying to set something up in advance.

Due to a quirk of my normal NOLA schedule.... I have even asked for super early morning appointments.... like 5:00 or 6:00am, occasionally. That rarely works out... but it has. Bless You, Girls!!

As Nina has already pointed out.... late night calls shouldn't be a problem on a Hobby Phone.... turn it off when you want to!

Last Minute calls shouldn't be a problem either.... if you do not post your phone #..... just one of those business decisions!!

Thanks Giz, for trying to schedule in advance. You have no idea how much easier you make things when you all do that. And what have you been told all your lives? A happy woman brings a happy time for all.

I've found its just better to leave my number off and give it once screening is complete.

what do you have on your opening voicemail? you might want to add in that message that you're not available at certain hours. your message can be nice, mean or really, really strange!

I just figured it was normal in this line of work to wake up to missed calls and text messages. I have always gotten them! I usually reply to the text "sorry I missed you, I was sleeping". Sometimes they text back and we go from there. If they leave a voicemail asking me to call back, I always call back. If it is just a missed call, I let it go. When I am sleeping, I keep my phone on silent or I would never get any sleep!! But I say let the guys call. I just may be sleepless in BR some nights and could use a good date to get to sleep (wink)!! If I am sleeping, it will just go to voicemail.

Right on! Old friends can call/text anytime b/c their screening is done. It's easy to see them on a moment's notice. New friends are the ones who should plan ahead. I love to meet new people!!! Just not late at night!
