But don't you know that EVERYTHING we say is an ad? What's the point of fighting it?
Nice new pic of Val on your avatar, btw. Great PR for her.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Not everyone walks onto this board with the knowledge of having lurked on it 24/7 for years.

I don't know about DNA. I guess it can be researched, but...
Personally knowing several South Asian(India, Maharashtra region generally) I can tell you they consider themselves Asian not Negro.
If you think the animosity between whites and blacks is divisive talk to an Indian. There seems to be a deep seated hate mostly, from what I can tell, because when the Brits controlled India they were compared to blacks to the point that they were referred to with the same derogatory names.
They will throw the N word at a black person in a second but you'd better not use it on them. Try it if you want to see one of them get fucking crazy in a heartbeat. When they get crazy they fucking lose their mind.

However, the OP does breathe a wee bit of new life into the debate with a point I had not seen (or missed) before about the perception of a dark-skinned South or Southeast Asian as opposed to AA. I know some providers would lump him in the "no fly" category, thinking that anyone "not white isn't right."
I will admit, to my shame, that for a while early in my Fancy career I stopped seeing anyone from a couple of the countries Lexie listed as I had 4 very bad experiences in a row with fellows born and raised in said countries. Seems they had the idea of, "I paid for you, I can do whatever I want TO you," and although they did not hit me (I would still be in prison for murder), they left me with bruises and bad memories.
After a panel discussion with my brain, conscience, ego, twat, wallet, and a can of pepper spray I purchased, I decided that I was being foolish holding an entire culture responsible for the actions of a few. My next visitor from the region was truly a gentlemen, highly educated, very generous, gentle and thoughtful, and we continued playing together for about a year, until he moved back east. I have had many successful encounters since in the field of "international relations."

Agree many of those cultures can be very prohibitive and restrictive of women. 2006 was in England when I ran into a group from Saudi and even though they tend to do this in Bahrain it was apparent they came to "sow their wild oats" before heading back home. They tried like hell to get me to move to Saudi to work for them but I was already aware of their prohibitive culture and co-mingling with the opposite sex rules. I think the American culture respect its women more than any culture in the world.

Interesting. Women got the vote there in 1893. The USA lagged behind until 1920.
New Zealand prides itself on equality regardless of sex, race, or sexual orientation. According to The Atlantic magazine/website:
The Economist created an index showing the countries where women are most likely to be treated equally at work, based on the labor-force participation rate, the wage gap, the proportion of women in senior jobs and child care cost compared to wages, among other factors. New Zealand comes out on top, and other notorious lady-paradises such as Finland and Sweden also score high. The countries where working women have it worst are South Korea and Japan, largely because so few women there are in top jobs. The U.S. is roughly in the middle of the pack .
Prostitution was decriminalized! Age of consent is 16! Legal drinking age is 18!
I like it.

The Pakistani chick in my building today smelled of crappy Indian food. She wasn't bad looking but I couldn't have dealt with that smell - and yes I probably assume that us common and not an exception so I'd be wary of scheduling with a hooker grin that part of the world. If I can do it / they can too. Might not be fair but also no big deal. We each get to pick our business partners.

wow thanks for all the replies guys, I will certainly aim for providers who don't have a preference, and if one that does have preferences meets my fancy I will ask over PM. I just wasn't sure if this was one of those "unwritten rules" of the NBA policy.
