Sorry for your loss RB.
Cancer is insidious, I have lost several family members to it.

Yeah, I have. 4 years ago. Felt like I couldn't breathe and I wanted to scream. Sorry for your loss. Really, I'm not kidding. It's a tough thing to see and it sticks with you. In some ways the world is a different place than before. Again, so sorry and the only thing for it is time.

Me too. Watched my grandma literally suffocate to death in the hospital last year.

I am sorry for your loss, RB. This little corner of the Internet doesn't mean two fucks in reality. Most things other than family and real friends don't.

My thoughts are with you. And I have been there at "the last breath", hopelessly standing by and silent. Thankfully God favored me with friends that were there with me and supported me. I had to make some horrible decisions during those times. Decisions I didn't want to make but needed to.

It does put things in focus and allows me to appreciate the little gems I find both in and out of the hobby.

People die everyday.... & the world keeps spinning.

I've buried all four (4) of my grandparents plus one (1) great grandparent, & all from one disease or another. One (1) human's suffering is insignificant

Condolences, RB.

Life is a continual treadmill; best if we can remember and relish the good times and try to make the hard times fade away.

Sorry REB. At some point in life we all lose a loved one. It would be nice if they all left this world due to old age. Simply isn't the case. I lost my sister to cancer when she was 38. Too young. Lost my mother to cancer when she was in her early 60s.

Death of someone close to you is never easy. Here's hoping remembering the good times and fond memories you have of your grandmother helps relieve the pain. You are certainly correct. Events like this put all the BS on this forum in perspective.

RB, you are right. There are more important things. My Condolences. I wish for you a special peace.

I held my father hand as he took his last breath. I was 29, to young to loose my Dad. I couldn't get to Houston in time to say goodbye to my sister. Even though I have been fucked over several times, lied to, I don't say much. There are more important things.
