Sorry for the delay folks..... It was SB Date Night.....

The only thing I will say in regards to the Fundraisers to date in this thread will be the below. When it is time to start it up again, if done, I'll deal with any questions then as well as invite others to be a part of it if they like.

Each and every year collections are made by volunteers from those that step up and do so. Each year different people step up to shop as well as deliver the items that are purchased with the funds generated. Some of the most respected members of the community are not only the top benefactors but they have been a part of much that goes on behind the scenes. Members have visited with families, the children, been invited to the Parties the Kids have, played blazer tag with them, etc....

I was never in possession of most of the items that were given to the kids.... A local Member in Austin volunteered an area for staging them...... Detailed sheets of the donations were kept and logs of tickets issued..... Everything purchased came to the staging area or was delivered by other members. I don't have a truck or a trailer..... Pictures were taken of shopping events as well as the deliveries and were posted..... members donated time and came and helped sort all the items into bags and label the bags for the kids..... Last year's efforts were huge.

Last Year we were fortunate when a Member from San Marcos drove up with a huge enclosed trailer to pickup the items and deliver them to the school we were dropping off at. A different member made the run with the food.... In previous years caseworkers made multiple trips in minivans......

Every year I deal with accusations from haters. Every year I bring others on to legitimize things more and more so that there are no issues. Each and every year it has grown and we have taken on additional programs.

I do not know if I will do it again this year. Those that know me and were close last year are aware of the toll it took on me physically. After holding the Christmas Party all day last year I was leading a small group to HEB the following morning at 7AM for the Meals that we provided.... Running the fundraiser usually means I do not work my business for the duration... It is very distracting.

Last year's hater caused the cancellation and rescheduling of the After Party.... Would Rick's suggestions have an impact? Certainly they would. I would not risk such an impact on the other members of this community to begin with and Rick's suggestions would certainly cause them embarrassment and public ridicule. Nor would I risk it tarnishing what is done for the kids.

Can I make it all happen without bringing it to the community in a public fashion? Sure. I think so. Or I hope so.... I believe I have some corporate sponsorship for it this year and about 70-75% of the money that was raised in the last 3 years came from a small handful of guys that all know the project well. I don't see any of them being affected by the rumor mongers..... They all know they are welcome to come to any of the events organized with the kids. Especially the ones the pay for.....

There was a large number of guys and ladies that donated in small amounts that made up the other 25-30%. Those are the people that win the prizes...That come to the weekly collections....that enjoy the party each year..... None of the large benefactors choose to collect on any of their "winnings". So the rest of the community.... Those guys that donate $25 to $50... benefit from their generosity as well.

I would be disappointed to see it fall apart.

Enough said on that.

A little more about the principle of how Rick suggests dealing with someone like me that will not let go of the principle of holding a member accountable for what they post....

IF members of this community were to take his suggestions and go to public places where a charitable fundraiser is being held what next? Or first even? When someone gets pissed that he cannot get an invite to one of the social events..... does he read this and organize a PTA group to picket where luncheons and socials are held week after week? Would any group gathering ever be safe from those that were disgruntled with it? Talk such as this is dangerous and I'll be surprised to hear much of it from any sensible member of this community. I am kind of surprised that others do not see the impact that any public support of what Rick has suggested could have on any event organized by anyone on this board when the excluded or disgruntled latch on to an idea like this.

RockerRick certainly knows how to make an entrance. Will this put him back in the bed of Slave Guinevere for free where he once was? I don't know. I do know he was very smitten by her at one point and watched his efforts for quite a while to try to defend her. I hope it works for him... they deserve each other.....

He has broken just about every guideline that a member can break. Yet I pretty much always defended him. Oh well.... Shit happens...

A public threat here in this thread to out members of this community, which is what his actions would entail, and the outing of ROS material in another thread where he attacks SAVAK on his first day back? The venom has certainly been saved up.

I've always liked the guy. She must have the most unique pussy in the world to have the kind of power and influence over people that she does. Y'all don't have to look back far to see where Rick stood on the topic of disrupting the CoEd forum of this city and attacking the membership. In between Bans and as fast as he could create new accounts he was here day after day back at the beginning of the year doing exactly what he is now attacking. She has definitely won him over. He and I have never had a disagreement outside of his issues with what he obviously see's as my attack on his one true love I guess.

I do know that his actions will not have any affect on what her own words have done to her credibility. Nor will it change my mind or actions.

I am not a fan of the BS whispers pulls but the idea of outing the fundraisers is an extreme level of bad. If they are a fraud simply put out the evidence. That will kill them faster than anything else without hurting those that are just trying to be generous.

Please do not pull the same crap whispers has by referring to anonymous pm's from people that do not want to go public, I know from experience that fundraisers are difficult and can be a pain. If his are legit do not use them in an effort to get even.

It is already bad enough that pettiness behind the scenes has risen to members sending personal pictures snagged off personal websites to others basically sending the message that "Hey... I know who you are".... or that others have gone to the offices of apartment complexes to out the provider turning her tricks there.... costing people their homes....

I'm still on vacation but this thread most certainly has my attention. First off I put myself in Rockericks place. If I had proof that what Rick claims is true I would have confronted Whispers in private accomplishing the same thing. Rest assured Whispers would have stopped posting I would think.

I have made myself very clear that I like Slave. Yet you don't see being a big white knight for her...why? Simple...She doesn't need the help. She is a big girl and can handle her own problems. And chooses to do so! It saddens to think because of Slave and Ricks relationship that this now could have a major negative impact on her and her family.

Outing is bad and a nuclear thing here at ECCIE but all ECCIE will do is ban a handle / member. Let's not forget the major impact it can have on people's lives. Yes we are all people before we became hookers and mongers. I hope all parties involved step back and take a deep breath and evaluate the consequences of their actions before posting.

Before I comment further I want to allow Rick to post "proof". In the mean time I plan on stepping forward to make up for any losses the charity might suffer as a result of this so far unsubstantiated claim. Let's not forget that this charity is set up to help children at Christmas. That is a wonderful thing and needs to be supported by all of us to the best of our abilities.

Nothing against the Jay Mustang but most charities are bullshit anyway. I don't donate to any and ESPECIALLY not one from a hooker site. I'm not a total heartless bastard thought, I volunteer at a place for a cause I support. My time is valuable. Plus I give back to the university I went to. But even then I refuse to send money or as they like to say "unrestricted funds". I purchase equipment for the sport I played and that way I know my money is going where I want it.
