Well said. I don't think of myself as a WK but there are people you get to like here and for me THN has been someone I like and respect. Agree with everything she says? I don't think any of us agree with everything someone says. I do however respect someone that speaks up for what they believe and doesn't always just pander to popular opinion like some weak minded people here do on a regular basis.

It's not just her but guys too. We've all seen girls here that hop on the train when there's a popular thread because he/she wants to be part of the cool club - it's pathetic. There have been a couple people I've blasted a bit and that's the reason - they have no opinions, they just follow what seems to be popular and I don't respect that at all.

hmmm, i'm not sure what this tells me about science education in america.
i thought every USA student knew that mt everest was the tallest mountain above sea and that the mariana trench is the deepest trench/canyon in the oceans.

A. I think a reference to "Trench" in my name sounds more of a turn off

I think we might have to look elsewhere for the much needed dramatic relief, 'cause ~Ze brought it like a shutdown closer in the OP. Nobody liked facing Mariano Rivera in his prime.
