I took a shot at trying a Prepaid Monthly thing with a VP once (X number of hour visits for price X). Never again. She insisted on getting paid completely upfront on the first of the Month & that I always be her first appointment of the day. I didn't think this would be a problem since she had always been clean, responsive to messages and a lot of fun for the full hour. Boy was I wrong. Her hygiene dropped, she rarely responded to messages and as soon as she got me off once it was out the door time no matter how much time was left on my prepaid hour.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful advice. There seems to be unanimous vote of NO on this thread, based on experience.

I am curious still that VP of good reputation would risk a hard-earned career and trust for say, 0.5 or 1K, and a disgruntled long-time patron to keep alive bitter memories long after he has been shortchanged. This short of blatant betrayal of trust does not sit well with anyone and is bad customer relations.

Did you subsequently publish your experience in reviews as a warning? Did others, who have had similar bad experiences with pre-paid specials, single out the providers who stiffed them? Are providers reading this thread? I am interested than not one has weighed in with her side of the story!!

Why would someone who has worked hard to establish trust and repeat clientele by word of mouth recommendation sacrifice all of that for a mere 5 or 1K is the logic that escapes me, when the normal honoraria is 0.25? Any thoughts? Thanks.

The majority of Provider's just use this site for advertising purposes and very few of them actually read the board and participate (at least in this section). As for Providers ripping clients off or treating them badly and creating ill will. It (as with most things in life) depends upon the person and sometimes the situation they find themselves in. Some Providers have no loyalty to their client base no matter how often the client has seen them or how long they have known them for. There are plenty of stories on this board and elsewhere of clients who after having been a long term client (2 - 5 Years on average) of a Provider and thought that they were on "Friendly" terms with that Provider. That suddenly found themselves getting ripped off by that same Provider. Some Providers also seem to feel that the client is very replaceable (i.e. there is a long line of horny stupid guys outside their door just waiting for their chance at some "nookie") and they really don't care who or how many guys they piss off. If necessary they just travel or relocate and change their name from time to time.

I'm one very lucky motherfucker then

about 12 with two 2nd time around. dang its got to be about 20 with another.

crap, I forgot something, longer with all. I will have to ask them how long been putting up with my silly spoiled brat fat ass

Oh and by the way. Its not that I have never been taken on a ride to hell. Its once over, forget it and start over. dang, glad that one moved to PA and only in town for short time few times a year. Yet I hope she be doing well anyways.

With some others. It just ended with no problem, and all still say Hi and a hug if run into when I out and about.

Thank you very much. That is a very thoughtful insight and is another piece of evidence why economists and others were wrong from the get -go to have proposed the RATIONAL ACTOR MODEL. The only thing a rational thinker could have concluded was that no human being ever behaves according to rational impulses, or s/he could never have become human.

That is not sarcasm. The very qualities in us that allow us to defeat great odds or survive very unexpected conditions defy rationality. Courage, extreme resilience, will power, and the many strengths of character needed to survive the life of a provider, along with some other attributes unique to each person defies the concept of a purely rational actor.

If such a profession [as a provider] would defies the rational mode to a significant extent or in significant areas, why expect any rational responses from an individual whose entire being is coded upon the opposite trajectory?

This is not a pejorative at all. All of us are in non-rational modes of existence if viewed from the relative trajectories of each other.

Some choose to study insects for a living, others to make money without end and without any other rational goals, including any ethical boundaries. Yet others indulge in violence, some paths praised by society but others not. All engage in irrationality, thinly cloaked in arguments of greater or lesser degrees of incoherence and syllogic falsifiability.

Indeed, the very term "logic" is a misnomer, because all "logic' and "rationality" ultimately boil down to a set of axioms and lemma that are nothing but personal convictions, i.e the height of irrationality! So, why should the irrationality of a pre-paid special be so astonishing?
