Put it this way, many of the political threads end up at the same place (a lot of knashing of teeth going back and forth and no one really changes anyone else's opinions).

What's more the Sandbox is a perfect place to discuss politics, religion, gun rights, abortion, etc.:

It seems like a simple straight forward solution. Except the mods (Chica and Chaser) there are going to hang me.

OK, gotta apologize for "remembering" this discussion was in the "Trump Card" thread. It was not.

I apologize. I was a member at the old ASPD and this forum sort of reminded me of the HDH area they had. I know this is a totally different board, although it was born out of the ashes and well, that was one of the best places to go when you wanted your big head stimulated before you had your small head stimulated if you catch my drift.

Okay. So I should hang in the National Sandbox when in the mood to talk about politics and social issues.

D&T is indeed HDH ala 2010 environment. But it seems that there are so many political threads it's like why bother. Repubs, Dems, Tea Partiers (sp), all have opinions. I am here to talk about things that make the little head happy. And what makes the ladies smile or ruminate about. Yes a smattering of politics is okay.

Just looked at the first page of D&T. Eight of the 20 subjects are political in nature. So I will take back that it is overloaded and I am actually happy the D&T topics are about moaning, donating undies, things to do in Nashville, UK escorts, and the like. D&T is healthier than I thought. I guess as a mod we see the angst and being of the belief that "less is more," I offered an alternative location to chat about policitcs. But wouldn't it make sense to have political exchanges over at the Sandbox?

Between what the media is yammering about, we all need and enjoy civility. So that's all we really ask. If one doesn't step down the politcal trail and instead talk about what men and women might do BCDs, it's all good.
